I actually found 5 early Prime Day Apple deals worth buying

Apple deals can be weird. A crossed-out price doesn’t automatically make something a bargain, especially when the discount is barely enough to cover lunch. These five are more convincing. The savings are decent, the products are current, and none of them need much creative accounting to make the price look good.

AirPods Pro 3 – $199 (20% off)

This is probably the easiest deal here to defend. The AirPods Pro 3 fall from $249 to $199, and that puts them in a much friendlier place for anyone already considering Apple’s premium earbuds. Our AirPods Pro 3 review found plenty to like beyond the audio quality, including excellent noise cancellation, improved fit, and reliable heart rate sensing.

Key spec/featureDetails
Active noise cancellationYes, with Adaptive Audio and Transparency mode
Battery lifeUp to 8 hours with ANC enabled
Fitness featuresHeart rate sensing during workouts
DurabilityIP57 earbuds and charging case
ChargingMagSafe case with USB-C

AirPods Max 2 – $479 (13% off)

I’m not going to pretend $479 suddenly makes AirPods Max 2 cheap. It doesn’t. But $70 off is meaningful on something this expensive, and the appeal is obvious if you already live mostly inside Apple’s ecosystem. AirPods Max 2 brought an H2 chip and improved noise cancellation, along with Adaptive Audio and other features that brought Apple’s over-ear headphones closer to the newer AirPods Pro.

Key spec/featureDetails
Active noise cancellationYes
Audio featuresAdaptive Audio and Personalized Spatial Audio
Wired audioLossless and ultra-low latency over USB-C
Battery lifeUp to 20 hours with ANC enabled
ChargingUSB-C

Apple iPad Air 11-inch M4 – $649 (13% off)

The iPad Air is the one I’d look at if the regular iPad feels a little too basic, but an iPad Pro feels like overkill. Apple’s M4 iPad Air upgrade brought more performance, memory, and better wireless connectivity, while this deal takes $100 off the 128GB model.

Key spec/featureDetails
ProcessorApple M4
Display11-inch Liquid Retina
Storage128GB
WirelessWi-Fi 7 with Apple N1
Apple Pencil supportApple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil USB-C

Apple iPad 11-inch A16 – $399 (11% off)

The regular iPad is a much easier recommendation for anyone who just wants a good tablet and doesn’t care about squeezing every ounce of performance out of it. We’ve previously called the A16 iPad a solid everyday option for streaming, browsing, schoolwork, travel, and lighter productivity. At $399, the 128GB model still covers that role comfortably.

Key spec/featureDetails
ProcessorA16 chip
Display11-inch Liquid Retina, 2360 x 1640
Storage128GB
Front camera12MP landscape Center Stage
ConnectivityWi-Fi 6 and USB-C

Apple Pencil Pro – $99 (23% off)

The Apple Pencil Pro is probably the least exciting thing here to buy on its own, but it makes a lot more sense if a compatible iPad is already in the cart. At $99, it’s $30 cheaper than usual and brings squeeze controls, barrel roll, haptic feedback, Find My support, and magnetic charging.

Just check compatibility first, because Apple Pencil naming remains more complicated than it has any right to be. It works with the M4 iPad Air above, but not the A16 iPad also featured in this roundup.

Key spec/featureDetails
ControlsSqueeze and double tap
Drawing featureBarrel roll with gyroscope
FeedbackBuilt-in haptic feedback

ChargingMagnetic attachment, pairing, and charging

Mori might be the cutest AI companion robot yet, and it reacts to you like a pet
The Pokémon-like companion can blink, dance, act shy, and respond to what is happening around it.
OKA Mori The Nature Companion AI Home Robot

With AI progressing so fast, it's only a matter of time before we start getting AI companions like the ones we used to see in movies like R2-D2, Wall-E, or Baymax. Now, Singapore-based OKA Technology has unveiled Mori, a cute little AI companion that looks less like a conventional home robot and more like someone turned the Pokémon Foongus into a table lamp.

Mori isn't meant to clean your house or control your smart home, but to serve as what OKA calls a "Nature Companion." It uses subtle movements, warm lighting, nature-inspired sounds, and small reactions to make its presence around the house feel calming rather than distracting. Mori can sit quietly while you read, sway along to music, welcome you when you enter a room, or encourage you to slow down for a moment without requiring a screen or a conversation.

Arc browser is shutting down in December. Long live, ya trailblazer!
The browser that revolutionizes tab management is finally riding into the sunset.
Arc browser farewell note.

Arc browser is shutting down on December 22, following a long spell of maintenance-only work as the company behind it moves forward with its successor, Dia. Earlier today, The Browser Company announced that the beloved web browser will ride into the sunset in two months, but will continue development of the Dia browser.

"That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community," says the company.

1Password wants AI agents to handle logins without ever taking a peek at your passwords
1Password is expanding its secure login system to Muse, Claude Duet, Dots, ChatGPT Work, and more.
1Password for AI Agents launched

The next chapter of AI is knocking on our doors, as AI agents like Meta Muse, OpenAI Dots, Gemini Spark, among others, are becoming mainstream, and they are genuinely quite useful for a lot of things, ranging from being your personal assistant all the way to helping you manage a small business. However, many are still quite hesitant about giving these agents access to your accounts and their sensitive credentials.

1Password thinks it has a fix for that trust problem. Its new 1Password for Agents platform lets AI agents sign in to your accounts without ever seeing or storing the passwords, sensitive information, or other credentials they need.
