Despite Saleen’s long list of accomplishments, the American company is still best known for its special-edition Mustangs, and that’s a trend that likely won’t be changing anytime soon.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is hot off the press, so, naturally, the folks at Saleen are hard at work on a special version.
The California-based manufacturer just released the spec sheets for the 2015 302 Mustang, which, like 2014’s version, offers White Label, Yellow Label, and Black Label variants.

Every version of Saleen’s 302 uses Ford’s 5.0-liter V8, but the power levels vary. In stock form, the ‘Coyote’ V8 pumps out 435 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, but that’s been boosted to 450 hp and 410 lb/ft for the White Label.
The Yellow and Black Label both produce 640 hp and 565 lb/ft. The power boost comes via a retuned ECU, high-flow fuel injectors, a free-flowing respiratory system, and in the upper ranges, a supercharger system.
The 302’s enhancements aren’t all meant for the dragstrip, though. The infamous pony car also wears enhanced springs and bushings as standard, with a fully adjustable coilover setup offered as an option. A wide array of beefed-up brakes and gear ratios is also available.
A full photo set has yet to be released, but Saleen has detailed multiple aesthetic enhancements to the 302. These include an optional panorama or privacy glass roof, 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels, a high downforce rear wing, an ‘Axial’ front grill, and a ventilated hood.
The 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang is currently available for pre-order. A full pricing list is still forthcoming, but a $2,015 deposit is required to reserve your VIN.
