Sacha Baron Cohen is the brother of the world's greatest spy in the red-band trailer for The Brothers Grimsby

Comedic actor Sacha Baron Cohen has played everything from a flamboyant fashion expert to an African dictator, and earned himself an Academy Award nomination along the way. His next film pairs him up with tough guy actor Mark Strong for an odd-couple adventure that has him playing with the tropes of the super-spy movie genre.

Sony Pictures released the first, red-band trailer for The Brothers Grimsby this week, and while it opens with a sequence that would be fitting in any good spy movie, it finishes with a scene that is very much, well … Sacha Baron Cohen. As with any red-band previews, you’ll want to keep in mind that it could fall under the NSFW banner before watching it.

Directed by Now You See Me and The Incredible Hulk filmmaker Louis Leterrier, The Brothers Grimsby casts Cohen and Strong as a pair of estranged British brothers who have been separated for almost 30 years. Cohen plays Nobby, a dimwitted football hooligan with 11 children and a wife played by Pitch Perfect actress Rebel Wilson. Strong plays Nobby’s brother, Sebastian, who spent the last few decades becoming one of the world’s greatest secret agents and a deadly assassin for the British government.

After Sebastian uncovers a devastating terrorist plot, he’s forced to go on the run and ends up seeking the help of his long-lost brother. As one might expect, the unlikely team will have to overcome their differences if they want to save the world.

Along with Cohen and Strong, the film also stars Academy Award winner Penelope Cruz (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe (Precious), Ian McShane (Deadwood), and Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum). The film is based on a screenplay penned by Cohen and Wreck-It-Ralph writer Phil Johnston.

The Brothers Grimsby is scheduled to hit theaters March 4, 2016.

Nicholas Galitzine and Anne Hathaway in The Idea of You.

Amazon Prime Video is starting off strong in May with several new additions to its library of movies, including the premiere of the original romantic drama The Idea of You. Last year's underrated Christmas drama The Holdovers is also now streaming on Prime Video. And as far as we're concerned, a good drama is never out of season.

Prime Video lost a handful of movies at the end of April, and Paul Thomas Anderson's Licorice Pizza is only sticking around through the end of the weekend. But everything else on our list of the best movies on Amazon Prime Video right now is still available. Just keep reading, and you can make plans to watch any of the films that you want to see this month.

The 50 best movies on Netflix right now (May 2024)
Jenna Ortega in Miller's Girl.

It should come as no surprise that this year's hit rom-com Anyone But You has a stranglehold on the top slot of the list of the most popular movies on Netflix. But it is somewhat surprising to see Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver completely disappear from the list. That's going to make Rebel Moon – Part Three very unlikely to happen, and it may even discourage Netflix from committing extremely high budgets to its original sci-fi movies.

More tellingly, two of this week's new additions are modestly budget dramas: Miller's Girl and The Judge. The former features Wednesday's Jenna Ortega, while the latter has great lead performances by Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall. So it's not a mystery as to why both of those films are two of the top performers of the week.
