Along with short snippets of scenes from the upcoming season, set to premiere on February 15, the promo offers short interview clips from all the big players, including Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy McGill (a.k.a. Saul Goodman), Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), and show creator Vince Gilligan.

The clips hint at McGill’s slip downward into the dirty underworld, without revealing just how far toward the Goodman persona he might reach this season. We also get a better glimpse into his relationship with Kim (played by Rhea Seehorn.) “They’re both adept at wearing masks,” she says in an interview clip, “and they take those masks off when they’re with each other.”
How long does it take before Jimmy and Mike (played by Jonathan Banks) work hand-in-hand on a regular basis? And just how far does McGill’s brother Chuck (Michael McKean) go this season in attempting to hold his little brother back? It seems his character will make just as dramatic a shift in season two as McGill’s will.
But chances are, with high likelihood of the show being on the air for some time given the stellar ratings, season two may move just as slowly as season one. It’s not an easy job, after all, going from a hard-fought path to the on the straight and narrow, to dealing with thugs like Tuco and Nacho (neither of which, by the way, appear in the video.)
Following the first promo last week, AMC has also just released a new, uber-short promo to further get fans excited about the upcoming premiere. Aptly named Crossroads, McGill is seen driving in his beat-up car, and reaching a literal fork in the road. It’s clearly desolate when he looks to his left, and no better when he looks to the right. What does he do? Naturally, he ignores the signs, and drives straight through the literal sign, revealing the edge of a cliff at the end. The figurative meaning is pretty obvious. Let the transformation begin. Here comes Saul Goodman.
