Latest Windows 10 Insider Build expands handwriting support, adds feedback shortcut

Microsoft has released preview build 14367 of Windows 10 to members of the Insider Program. Those who have opted in should receive the update imminently across PC and mobile devices.

The latest version of the operating system expands handwriting recognition support for different languages. A whopping 23 languages are being added, including Indonesian, Malay, and for the first time, African tongues like Swahili and Zulu.

There’s also a new shortcut that should make it easier for Insider Program members to give feedback. Using the Windows key + F combination opens up the Feedback Hub and attaches a screenshot of whatever’s on your display at the time, replacing the former shortcut of Windows key + Shift + ?, which will now be discontinued. Users on mobile devices can use the volume down and power buttons in conjunction to head straight to the Feedback Hub.

Build 14367 also marks the official debut of the clean install tool that was uncovered on Thursday. The utility provides an easy way to perform a fresh installation of Windows 10; it can be accessed from the Settings app.

Meanwhile, there’s a host of smaller tweaks and fixes included with the updates. These include improvements to cross-device notifications via Cortana, which should be quicker to appear and generally more reliable.

Microsoft has also announced its intention to remove a feature from Windows 10 Mobile alongside the impending Anniversary Update. Owing to a lack of usage, development of Kids Corner is coming to an end, and the option will no longer be available as of the update this July.

Insider Program members in the Fast Ring should receive the update soon, although there were some reported delays as a result of the development team testing out new builds internally.

According to users on the AMD forums, the KB5030310 update really doesn't agree with AMD's Adrenalin Control Panel. It appears that every time people restart their PCs, their Adrenalin settings are all reset back to default. This means that any changes made to things like AMD's Anti-Lag or Hyper RX will disappear upon every boot. Fortunately, the graphics driver itself is unaffected.
