It’s easy to lose yourself in Moshi’s overwhelming array of smartphone, tablet, and laptop peripherals, but the San Franciscan company makes accessories of a more basic sort, too, namely carrying cases and protective covers. And at CE Week 2016 in New York City, it showed off the newest additions to those lineups: the 2016 Spring Sage collection for its Urbana briefcase and Urbana Mini handbag.

The new collection, timed for the coming spring months, features “limited edition” color palette which evokes the bright, warmer weather of June, July, and August. There’s Persimmon Orange, which Moshi said pairs well with the lighter end of the color spectrum (think white, tan and light brown) and Tuscan Yellow, a bright but “fashionable” option that’s meant to complement “earthen ensembles” such as brown, dark green, and grey. Rounding out the new tones is the soft Sakura Pink, an accent meant to convey a sense of “composure” and pairs with mid-tones — e.g., rich dark browns and reds.

The Urbana, which will ship in orange and yellow, is the larger of Moshi’s two carrying cases. Its padded compartment can accommodate a 15-inch laptop, and features a weather-resistant material and a Moshi-engineered should strap, the ViscoStrap, designed to minimize shoulder strain. The Urbana’s smaller companion, Urbana Mini, will debut in pink and yellow, and fits a 12-inch MacBook or tablet. Its shoulder strap is detachable.

The Spring Sage collection is available for purchase at Moshi.com, Amazon, and Moshi’s brick-and-mortar partners.

That’s not all Moshi demoed at CE Week. It brought along an iGlaze Ion Battery case, a polycarbonate, shock-absorbent plastic iPhone cover with a detachable 2,750 mAh lithium ion battery; a range of IonBank battery cases, all of which sport “vegan leather accents” and are capable of fast charging; and the company’s newest Avanti headphones, which feature 40mm neodymium drivers and a stainless steel band. All are available for purchase.

The best Samsung Galaxy Watch in 2024: Which one should you buy?
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, side by side on a persons wrist.

While the openness of the Android ecosystem means there’s no shortage of options to choose in terms of smartwatches, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch family leads the pack by a wide margin.

The Galaxy Watch 6 marks the wearable’s fifth generation (there was never a Galaxy Watch 2), which means the line has had plenty of time to evolve and mature. Samsung’s decision to embrace Wear OS two years ago and expand the lineup in new directions with an adventurous “Pro” model and the return of the much-loved rotating bezel means that there’s now a Galaxy Watch for just about everyone.
