It’s hard to believe Logitech has gone so long without a wireless headset in its rather extensive line, but oddly enough, the one it debuted Tuesday at CeBIT actually became the company’s first. The ClearChat PC Wireless headset offers a design and audio drivers similar to Logitech’s ordinary USB variants, but without the troublesome cord.

While Logitech didn’t opt for Bluetooth technology in the ClearChat PC Wireless, the headset operates on the same 2.4Ghz frequency and offers range of up to 10 meters or 33 feet, the same as most Bluetooth devices. However, since Logitech’s hardware only requires users to plug in a USB transmitter, with no software or pairing needed, setup should be simpler than with Bluetooth equivalents.

The headset also gets the same “laser-tuned” audio drivers as the ClearChat Pro USB and a noise-canceling mic. Controls for volume and muting are located right on the headset, and rotating the flexible boom mic up and out of the way automatically mutes it.

The Logitech ClearChat PC Wireless has already shown up on Logitech’s own online store for $99.99, but it won’t actually begin shipping until May.

A Windows 11 bug may be quietly eating hundreds of gigabytes of your storage
Windows 11’s storage-eating bug now has a fix from Microsoft
Windows 11 suffering from RAM crisis

If your Windows 11 PC suddenly looks low on storage, your downloads folder or game library may not be the problem. According to Windows Latest, a bug tied to a Windows system file can silently consume tens or even hundreds of gigabytes on the system drive.

The file in question is called CapabilityAccessManager.db-wal, and it sits inside Windows’ Capability Access Manager folder. Windows Latest says the issue may appear as unusually high “System files” usage in Windows 11’s storage breakdown, even though the Settings app does not clearly identify the exact file responsible. In some reported cases, users saw it grow to 200GB, and even more.

A teenager allegedly used a VPN to cover his tracks while hacking a US jewelry retailer, but Microsoft knew anyway.
