ViewSonic Releases Two New IPS Panel LCD Displays

ViewSonic today announced the commercial availability of its 23” VP2365wb and 26” VP2655wb IPS panel LCD displays. The company says the monitors leverage the power of “true IPS panel technology,” making them ideal for professional designers, manufacturers, and even movie production. The 23” VP2365wb IPS true color monitor couples wide viewing angles with 1920×1080 full HD resolution, while the 26” VP2655wb IPS monitor offers 118% NTSC wide color gamut by OptiColor, super wide 178/178 degree viewing angles and 1920×1200 resolution.

“IPS panel technology is a must have for professionals in image-rich industries, such as graphic artists. Without enhanced viewing angles and accurate color reproduction, they simply cannot do their jobs,” said Jeff Volpe, vice president and general manager of ViewSonic North America. “Our new LCD monitors are designed with these professionals in mind, providing them with a true picture and color quality to make projects come alive.”

ViewSonic says these two monitors have their strongest pixel performance guarantee and come with a three-year limited warranty on parts, labor and backlight. The monitors are now available with the VP2365wb for an ESP of $399 and the VP2655wb for a respective $1,299.

Microsoft may finally let you turn off some of Edge’s AI. But don’t celebrate yet

After spending a few years collecting new AI features on Edge, Microsoft is planning on giving users the option to completely turn all of them off. A new On-device AI setting has appeared in Edge Canary under Settings > Copilot and AI, allowing users to control whether Microsoft's browser can use AI models running locally on their PC. Windows Report spotted the setting in the latest preview build.

Microsoft has stated that when on-device AI is enabled, Edge can use local AI models for support features. turn it off and those features may stop working. Just one thing you have to remember, Edge doesn't actually tell you what those features are.
