Ubisoft has released the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for its upcoming shooter Far Cry 4. Check out below what you’ll need in order to climb the perilous peaks of Kyrat on your Windows gaming machine:

Far Cry 6 beginner’s guide: Tips and tricks for overthrowing the government of Yara

Overthrowing the government of the fictional island nation known as Yara in Far Cry 6 will be no simple task. Under the oppressive rule of the dictator Anton Castillo, who is already in the process of educating his son Diego to follow in his brutal footsteps, the people need a hero to free them from his grasp. Dani Rojas, who can be either male or female depending on your choice, decides to lend their skills to the rebels in an attempt to free the people of Yara and overthrow the government that treats them so poorly.

You will be given free rein of the entire world of Yara, after a short introduction, which can quickly be overwhelming. Like with previous Far Cry games and other traditional Ubisoft titles, Far Cry 6's world is jam-packed with missions, side quests, activities, bases, animals, random encounters, and more to pull your attention. While it doesn't do much to change the core gameplay the series has been known for since Far Cry 3, there are a few key new systems that you will need to learn in order to be an effective rebel soldier. Deathloop PC system requirements: Can your PC play Deathloop?

fDeathloop is an easy candidate for game of the year, but that may depend on what platform you're playing the game on. PlayStation 5 owners are having a wonderful time with the '60s-themed time-looping title, while PC users have been left in a lurch, thanks to shoddy performance optimization. However, that doesn't mean that PC players can't enjoy the game all the same. With some simple tweaks, any PC player with Deathloop's recommended hardware can meet or even exceed the game's performance on the PS5.

As opposed to consoles, you'll have a vast number of options for what graphics settings you can change on PC, although some will impact your performance much more than others. For testing, I used my personal computer, which sports a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU running at its stock speeds and a Radeon RX 5700. The latter is exactly what Arkane suggests as the recommended GPU for Deathloop while the former is only slightly better than the Ryzen 7 2700x the developer lists. All the same, I was able to squeeze out some admirable performance from my rig that stacked up to what players were experiencing on the PS5.

Far Cry 6 was always going to be a controversial game, whether Ubisoft wanted it to be or not. While it's set on a fictional Caribbean island named Yara, it's inspired by the very real Cuba. What’s more, it explicitly draws on some of the country’s political history with a plot revolving around revolution, a dictator, and guerilla warfare. All of that would make it hard for Ubisoft to pull out its usual line about its games being apolitical.
