Leaked artwork confirms Crysis 3

This news shouldn’t really shock anyone following the success of Crysis 2, but a leaked piece of box art seems to confirm that Crysis 3 is in development.

This would make the first semi-official piece of confirmation that Crytek was working on the sequel. The leak came from EA’s Origin service itself, and also claimed that the game would be available for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The info and image were quickly pulled, but not before it hit NeoGAF.

For now, all we are left with is the tantalizing (albeit unsurprising) news that Crysis 3 is on the way. No word on when we might expect it, but E3 is coming soon…

In the meantime, Crytek is hard at work on several other titles, including a free-to-play FPS called Warface, the Kinect action title Ryse, TimeSplitters 4, and Homefront 2—and those are just the announced games.

Everyone who's been playing Tekken since Tekken 5 knows that the game is secretly a fashion show. With a fun customization mode that allows you to change up your favorite fighter's style, it's hard for it not to be.

Larian Studios' story is a rags-to-riches tale about a group of passionate developers whose deep and diverse portfolio of games piled up for nearly three decades before Baldur's Gate 3 ever saw the light of day. Amid canceled projects, Larian narrowly skirted total bankruptcy. In order to survive, there are several points in its history when the independent studio experimented. There were dives into real-time strategy, educational games for the Belgian kids' TV station Ketnet, the Diablo-esque Divine Divinity, and Divinity 2: Ego Draconis, a third-person action RPG built on Bethesda’s Gamebryo engine.

Persona 3 Reload leads a surprisingly strong batch of Xbox Game Pass additions

Microsoft unveiled the next batch of new Xbox Game Pass titles, which are dropping between January 18 and February 8. Of the seven new titles coming to the video game subscription service over that time span, four are new games being added on the day of their release. The most noteworthy of those games is Persona 3 Reload, Atlus' highly anticipated remake of an RPG classic.

Persona 3 was first released for the PlayStation 2 in Japan in 2006 and came to North America just a year later. While its sequels would go on to garner a bit more immediate acclaim, Persona 3 provided the solid foundation that they all built on. It is darker than those future entries, though, as you'll go from living your life as a Japanese teenager to shooting a gun at your own head to summon a Persona in stylish turn-based battles. Persona 3 is considered one of the best RPGs of its generation, and this remake brings the experience to modern platforms with a visual overhaul that makes it look more like Persona 5.
