Spike TV casting for Uncharted 3 reality show

Do you want to get your hands on a copy of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception? Do you really, really want it? Do you want it enough to go on a reality television show and compete against other people who really, really want it?

Well, if you’re still with us at this point, you probably want to know about the upcoming Spike TV special that’s looking for “the ultimate Uncharted fans” to participate in a week-long competition.

Over at GameTrailers.com, they have all the details and entry forms required to put yourself in the running (and possibly climbing and jumping and treasure-hunting). Details regarding what will actually go on during the week of Uncharted 3 extravaganza are scarce at this point, but the announcement calls for “fans of adventure, video game enthusiasts, puzzle solvers and risk takers,” as well as people who “think you could be an even better adventurer than Nathan Drake.”

Wouldn’t it be great if Nolan North signed up?

If you’re interested in applying for the show, you should probably make sure you have the week of October 3 free, and go shopping for a shiny new belt buckle. (That last part is for the hardcore Uncharted fans out there.)

Oh, and practice your one-liners and snarky remarks, too. We hear you might be tested on them during the show.

While the show, presented by PC Gamer, had a ton of great games, there's simply too many to list them all in one place. Instead, here are some of the highlights of 2021's PC Gaming Show.

Ubisoft’s awesomely weird E3 kickoff was the best part of its show
ubisoft e3 asmr show forward

The first day of E3 presentations went about how you would expect. The day wasn't filled with anything too exciting. There weren't any pop-offs out of chairs, or screams of "LETS GO!" about many games. In all, it was a rather low-key affair. In that quiet, though, one part of the show rang out -- not loudly but it was certainly all-encompassing.

Before Ubisoft's E3 Forward event started, the publisher ran an hourlong countdown stream. While most of these preshow countdowns have been unnecessary so far, Ubisoft took the time to actually fill it with some content. We saw snippets of gameplay and some messages from developers at Ubisoft and its various studios during that time.

Master Chief in Halo Infinite.

This Saturday, June 12, the ESA will host its first-ever all-digital E3. While we won't get to see theaters full of excited fans, we're still getting plenty of exciting presentations from the top names in gaming. The four-day event will feature new announcements from Nintendo, Microsoft, Square Enix, and much more.

The full schedule of events is a little intimidating. The ESA shared a handy day-by-day breakdown that includes 28 live presentations. In addition to the big companies, that includes keynotes from companies like Verizon, presentations from video game websites, and deep dives into specific titles. With so much to watch, E3 might seem intimidating this year. To alleviate some stress, here's every can't-miss livestream happening over the next few days.
