Every dog has its day, and that day has arrived for your four-legged friend. Casper, a startup known for its mattresses, sheets, and pillows, has expanded into products for dogs. The company has launched the Casper dog mattress, so your pet may now (finally) find a bed it likes more than yours.

Like Casper’s mattresses for humans, the dog mattress is designed for comfort. It uses pressure-relieving memory foam and durable support foam, not to mention a shape that is comfortable for a dog’s entire body. Since dogs have different needs than their masters, the company researched their innate sleeping and nesting behaviors. Based on their findings, Casper came up with a loose fabric surface that will withstand your dog’s attempts to dig or den-build.

“For almost two years, we studied the sleep patterns of dogs of all shapes and sizes. We even worked with a dog psychologist to learn more about canine behavior and used scanning electron microscopy to understand the interaction of different dog furs with different textiles,” said Jeff Chapin, the company’s co-founder and chief product officer, in a statement. “After developing dozens of prototypes, we finally found the perfect combination of materials to create a mattress that every dog loves to sleep on.”

As a nod to dog owners, the cover is machine-washable, which allows for easy clean-up of any shedding or mess. On top of that, it is meant to last; the cover is durable enough to handle biting or scratching.

Since dogs come in different sizes, so does Casper’s dog mattress. You can buy it in small, medium, or large, which hold dogs of up to 30, 60, and 90 pounds, respectively. Prices range from $125 to $225, and you can choose from gray, blue, and taupe.

The Jackery Explorer 300 Plus portable power station is $240 today normally $300
The front of the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus.

Time and time again, I recommend that everyone have a portable power station or backup power solution handy. It doesn't matter if you live in a traditional family home, an RV, or a cabin, or if you're off-grid somewhere in a remote location -- I'm jealous if you are -- you need power. You'll need it to power small appliances for cooking, to charge your phone or devices to stay in contact with friends and family, or just about anything else electronically-inclined. A power station gives you the option to charge from anywhere, anytime. Often, they have super convenient features like being able to charge the station with solar power by connecting a solar panel. Today, Target has the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus portable power station on sale for $240, normally $300, which saves you $60. It has a 78,00 mAh battery capacity with fast-charging support, smart app controls, and much more.

Why the Jackery Explorer 300 Plus portable power station would be good to have
This power station has a 78,00 mAh battery capacity. That's enough to charge most smartphones 25 to 30 times. You can also charge most laptops three or four times, keep a CPAP machine going for up to four nights, or power a small refrigerator for about four or five hours. Of course, it will also power up lighting, charge other electronics like drones or game consoles, power a coffee machine, and more. Plus, with fast-charging support, it only takes two hours to get the station fully charged through an outlet. It takes about 9.5 hours to charge with a single Jackery SolarSaga 40-watt solar panel.

Panasonic Stormtrooper wet-dry electric razor in Star Wars themed room

Whether you have some peach fuzz, a full beard, or you're regularly going back and forth between those, at some point, you'll need to shave. Target has a Panasonic wet-dry electric shaver that's themed like a Star Wars Stormtrooper for $100 today, normally $150. That saves you $50, but it's also on a super neat design. Okay, so maybe you don't necessarily need a Stormtrooper shaver. But let me explain why else it's awesome. It has a three-blade shaving system, an ultra-fast linear motor, and a responsive beard sensor. That sensor auto-adjusts power to match your beard density. Thick beard? You get extra power. Plus, it's washable and has a pop-up precision trimmer on the rear.

Why should I buy a Star Wars Stormtrooper-themed wet-dry electric shaver?

The Eve Light Switch with Matter installed on a wall.

The Eve Light Switch is one of our favorite smart light switches, offering an elegant design that makes it easy to control bulbs throughout your home. It’s now getting an update to make it even more enticing, as the company has officially launched the Eve Light Switch with Matter. Revealed last December, the switch is now available for $50 -- though existing users should note that the third-generation Eve Light Switch will also be receiving a Matter firmware upgrade via the Eve app.

Matter support for the Eve Light Switch means it’ll be able to communicate with a variety of smart home products and can be controlled via multiple different hub platforms. Voice commands are also supported for Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant. The smart switch is designed to replace either a single-pole or three-way switch, and its minimalist design makes it one of the best-looking switches on the market.
