Every dog has its day, and that day has arrived for your four-legged friend. Casper, a startup known for its mattresses, sheets, and pillows, has expanded into products for dogs. The company has launched the Casper dog mattress, so your pet may now (finally) find a bed it likes more than yours.

Like Casper’s mattresses for humans, the dog mattress is designed for comfort. It uses pressure-relieving memory foam and durable support foam, not to mention a shape that is comfortable for a dog’s entire body. Since dogs have different needs than their masters, the company researched their innate sleeping and nesting behaviors. Based on their findings, Casper came up with a loose fabric surface that will withstand your dog’s attempts to dig or den-build.

“For almost two years, we studied the sleep patterns of dogs of all shapes and sizes. We even worked with a dog psychologist to learn more about canine behavior and used scanning electron microscopy to understand the interaction of different dog furs with different textiles,” said Jeff Chapin, the company’s co-founder and chief product officer, in a statement. “After developing dozens of prototypes, we finally found the perfect combination of materials to create a mattress that every dog loves to sleep on.”

As a nod to dog owners, the cover is machine-washable, which allows for easy clean-up of any shedding or mess. On top of that, it is meant to last; the cover is durable enough to handle biting or scratching.

Since dogs come in different sizes, so does Casper’s dog mattress. You can buy it in small, medium, or large, which hold dogs of up to 30, 60, and 90 pounds, respectively. Prices range from $125 to $225, and you can choose from gray, blue, and taupe.

An EcoFlow River 2 portable power station sits on a camp table.

There’s some impressive savings to pounce on if you’re in the market for some smart home deals. Some backup power is a good thing to keep around the house, and today it’s a good way to save as well. The EcoFlow River 2 portable power station is seeing a discount at Best Buy, and it’s bundled with a foldable 110-watt solar panel. Together these are marked down to $305, while they would regularly cost $588. This makes for a savings of $283 and free shipping is included.

Why you should buy the EcoFlow River 2 portable power station
Portable power stations like the Jackery Explorer 1000 and the Bluetti AC180 are the heavy hitters when it comes to name recognition, but the EcoFlow River 2 portable power station knows a thing or two about chipping in around the house. It beats the industry standard for charging speeds, as it’s able to reach a full charge in only 60 minutes. That’s five times faster than other portable power stations, and it’s a huge improvement over previous EcoFlow models. This makes the River 2 an excellent power station if you live in areas that deal with periodic power outages due to weather, or if you’d like some extra power out in the yard.
