T-Mobile Rolls Out MOTORIZR Z3

Motorla and T-Mobile today launched Motorla’s first GSM slider in the United States. The new MOTORIZR Z3 should be available now at T-Mobile retail stores, select dealers and online at www.t-mobile.com.

The MOTRIZR Z3 is a slider style mobile phone with a built-in, two-megapixel digital camera with 8x zoom. This camera also has a camera light, landscape view finder and dedicated external camera button. Photo sharing with others can be accomplished through support for T-Mobile’s My Album, an online album for storing pictures, video and voice messages.

Other features of the MOTRIZR Z3 include a built-in digital music player with stereo Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free listening, a microSD card slot for storage of music and photos, video capture and playback, quad-band technology and USB 2.0 connectivity.

"T-Mobile’s customers love communicating with their friends and families whenever the feeling hits," said Michael Gallelli, director of product marketing, T-Mobile USA, in a statement. "With the MOTORIZR Z3, snapping and sharing photos of rich, memorable moments as they happen is almost like sharing those experiences in person."

3 reasons why I can’t leave my iPhone for an Android phone
An iPhone 14 Pro with an unlocked lock screen showing a DoorDash notification.

For more than a decade, I’ve been using Apple’s iPhone. I started with the original iPhone in 2008, which was a birthday gift and also my first Apple product, and have upgraded every year since.

However, since I started at Digital Trends, I’ve been checking out more Android phones. Though not all Android phones are winners, there have been a few that I've really enjoyed — including the Google Pixel 7, Samsung Galaxy S23, Google Pixel Fold, and Nothing Phone 2. I’ve experienced firsthand how Android handles some things a lot better than the iPhone, like customization and notifications, and the hardware designs can definitely be a lot more interesting.
