Record Viewing Of UK UFO Files

The truth may or may not be out there, but the files on it certainly are, at least in the UK. Since the Ministry of Defence opened its files on UFO sightings through the National Archives, that site has enjoyed record traffic as people download the history of sightings and investigations.

With its own special site, the information – contained in eight .PDF files, an introductory videocast and a podcast guide to the files – was downloaded 1.3 million times in the first four days it was available. On the first day alone it brought 264,285 visitors to the National Archives site, roughly five times the normal daily amount. And, in the ripples spreading from that, Hitwise has reported that web searches for “UFO” have increased by a staggering 267%.

Extended flights will help to reduce the system’s overall costs and improve coverage for users on the ground.

How to file your tax return online

While it's typical to put off filing your taxes for as long as humanly possible, filing them on time is still something you should do if you don't want to risk paying late penalties or exuberant interest costs on top of what you might owe. You can even potentially lose your refund after three years if you refuse to file in a timely fashion.

However, you don't have to opt to get a personal accountant if you have a straightforward return. Filing online is quick, accurate, and yields a return directly to your bank account within 21 days, as opposed to the typical six weeks associated with paper filing. Plus, if it's down to the wire, e-filing your taxes is far more convenient.
