The process of building hype for the next Star Wars movie involves a string of product and software tie-ins, but you’d be hard pressed to find an authorized product as creative as the new Star Wars collection from Adidas. Using the miAdidas app, you can now build your very own custom pair of ZX Fluxes or Superstar 80s with exclusive Star Wars branding and materials, even if you are rebel scum.

This isn’t the first time Adidas has worked Star Wars into their sneaker lineup. Back in 2012, the sportswear brand crafted a special pair of Top Tens where each shoe was half R2-D2 and half C-3PO, split vertically down the middle, as well as a pair of Boba Fett inspired ZX800s that came out of the box looking well worn, like the bounty hunter’s armor. But those aren’t the droids you’re looking for.

This time around, Adidas has trusted you with the power of the force, offering a wealth of customization options for both sneaker styles. Exclusive materials like reflective and metallic silvers and golds are only available on Star Wars pairs, and you can have a number of popular characters’ faces on the front of the tongue. Special patterned prints and Star Wars laces are back too, and in greater numbers.

For an added touch, Adidas has also released special molded shell toes and heels that have storm trooper or Darth Vader faces on them. You can customize the shoes on the miAdidas landing page to your liking now for a unique look that the followers of the dark side will covet. It will take a bit of work to create the perfect pair of sneakers for yourself; in our experience, there’s no such thing as luck.

The Book of Boba Fett trailer dives into the Star Wars underworld
A scene from The Book of Boba Fett featuring the titular bounty hunter.

Boba Fett instantly captured the imaginations of Star Wars fans when he made his first appearance on the big screen in The Empire Strikes Back. Now, Boba Fett will finally headline his own series at the end of this year when Disney+ and Lucasfilm unleash The Book of Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian season 2 reintroduced Boba Fett nearly four decades after his infamous death in Return of the Jedi. The show quickly reminded fans why they loved Boba Fett, as he lived up to his legend and teamed up with the Mandalorian to rescue Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) from the Imperial Remnant. In the post-credits scene from season 2, Boba and his new associate, Fennec Shand, invaded Jabba's palace and forcefully took over his criminal empire. That's where things begin in The Book of Boba Fett's first trailer. Boba and Fennec have a new approach to ruling the underworld: Where Jabba led with fear, they want to lead with respect. Unfortunately, not everyone is receptive to their proposals.
