Bloomberg reported some rumored specs for Apple's iPhone 4G today.
Bloomberg.com reported today that Apple’s new iPhone 4G will include a more advanced camera and may have a touch-sensitive casing. The new iPhone details were provided by Goldman Sachs Group Inc. analyst Robert Chen, who refused to identify the source of his information. Chen also mentioned the latest iPhone will be released by June of this year and that it features some major hardware and software updates.
Bloomberg reported that Chen described the new iPhone as having similar touch-enabled qualities as Apple’s new Magic Mouse which has a touch-sensitive solid plastic shell in replacement of mechanical buttons. The technology may be replicated in the new iPhone to offer touch-sensitive features on the rear of the handset, claims Chen. According to this report the next iPhone will go into production as early as April to be available to consumers by June.
As usual, Apple representatives have “no comment.”

Big ups to Freediverx = all salient points.
1) Removable Battery
The trend at Apple has been fiercely in the opposite direction. Even their laptops forgo a removable battery
2) Seamless Metal Case
This would destroy wireless reception. Even if they return to a metal casing, it will need to have a plastic area for the antenna.
3) Titanium
Titanium is not a pretty metal. It has a dull, grey finish. The last time Apple used titanium (older powerbooks) they ended up painting over it in silver, and months later all those beautiful laptops looked like lepers, with the pain flaking off everywhere. Add to that the higher machining costs due to the metal's hardness.
Not. Gonna. Happen.
4) Hard, right angled edges, a la iMac
Yeah, those razor sharp metal edges would sure feel great in your hands, huh?
5) OLED screen
Very pretty colors in dim lighting. Completely unreadable in daylight. That's kind of important on a phone. Fail.
