Uncharted 3 gameplay video debuts

Sony and Naughty Dog are riding a wave of good will right now, as the official unveiling of Uncharted 3 not only thrilled fans, it even made headline news. Since the PS3 was released, somewhere along the way Uncharted went from being a good franchise, to a great one, to a franchsie that might help define this generation of consoles—at least as far the PS3 is concerned.

When the game was officially announced a few weeks back at the VGAs, it came with a stylish and cinematic trailer, but one thing that was missing was any actual gameplay. To rectify that, Naughty Dog went to Jimmy Fallon, who played a demo of the game on his TV show. Now you can see that gameplay, sans Fallon.

Uncharted 3 is due out on November 1, 2011 as a PS3 exclusive.

NYT Connections: hints and answers for Thursday, May 2

Connections is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game tasks you with categorizing a pool of 16 words into four secret (for now) groups by figuring out how the words relate to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight and each new puzzle has a varying degree of difficulty. Just like Wordle, you can keep track of your winning streak and compare your scores with friends.

How to play Connections
In Connections, you'll be shown a grid containing 16 words — your objective is to organize these words into four sets of four by identifying the connections that link them. These sets could encompass concepts like titles of video game franchises, book series sequels, shades of red, names of chain restaurants, etc.
