Why you should buy the Amazon Fire HD 10

Sold in Black, Lilac, and Ocean colors, this version of the Fire HD 10 comes with 32GB of storage and features Lockscreen Ads. This just means that when you’re not actively using the Fire HD 10, the touchscreen will show ads. Once you start using the tablet again, the ads disappear.

Amazon claims that the Fire HD 10 is up to 25% faster than the previous Fire HD generation. This is thanks in part to the HD 10’s octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM. We’re also big fans of the 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 touchscreen. Whether you’re watching an HD movie, playing a game, or just browsing the web, you can expect bright and colorful visuals from the HD 10.

Other great features include a built-in 5MP front-facing camera for video calls, Alexa-powered smart home controls and web searches, and up to 13 hours of battery life on a full charge. It’s hard to say how long this discount is going to be available, so now might be the best time to save.

Take $65 off the Amazon Fire HD 10 (32GB with Lockscreen Ads) when you purchase through Amazon or Best Buy, and be sure to have a look at some of the best Amazon Fire tablet deals and best Amazon Echo deals we’ve been finding. We also have an entire list of Amazon deals to peruse, including discounts on laptops, TVs, and more!

Apple issues a grim warning as memory costs soar. It seems pricey iPhones and Macs are here to stay
Apple’s memory bill is climbing, and your receipt may follow.
MacBook Pro PROLED XDR laptop

Whether it’s iPhones, iPads, or MacBooks, Apple has already slapped revised price tags on a long list of products. Since these products already cost hundreds of dollars more than they did (especially MacBooks and the Mac mini, which use highly capable M-series chips), I was quietly hoping this was it.

However, during its recent earnings call, Apple ended that hope. The company has warned that memory chip prices are climbing at an “unprecedented” pace, with CEO John Ternus telling investors that costs will be even higher in the December quarter (via The Guardian).

The iPhone Duo taught the iPad a much-needed lesson in multitasking. iPadOS 27.2 makes Split View less of a chore.
A small iPad tweak that fixes a big daily annoyance.
Electronics, Mobile Phone, Phone

It’s funny when a brand-new phone teaches an old tablet a lesson. That’s exactly what the iPhone Duo seems to have done for the iPad. I’m genuinely glad somebody at Apple was paying attention, as it was overdue.

iPadOS 27.2 makes setting up side-by-side apps on an iPad much easier, and it is an iPad multitasker’s dream come true if you ask me.

Affinity’s all-in-one creative app is finally here for iPad, and it costs nothing
You can now sketch, edit photos, and create vector artwork without switching between different apps.
Affinity UI on iPad

Canva has finally released the new Affinity app for iPad, nearly a year after it brought the redesigned creative suite to Mac and Windows. To go with it, the company has also introduced a bunch of new tools that take advantage of Apple Pencil and the iPad's touchscreen. And the good news is that the app is free, at least for the core creative tools.

As we reported last week, Affinity already offered separate Photo, Designer, and Publisher apps for iPad. The new version brings all those capabilities into a single app, allowing users to work on illustrations, photos, vectors, and page layouts without switching between different apps.
