One percent rarely means much in the world of statistics, but when a new product manages to grab one percent of a huge, fiercely competitive marketplace in just one day, it certainly means something. And if the numbers are to be believed, Google Chrome managed to do just that when it launched on Tuesday.

According to StatCounter, which has access to data from over 1.9 million Webmasters, Google Chrome hits accounted for an entire one percent of traffic on Sept. 3, the day after its launch, indicating a stunning first-day market penetration. The data came from a sample size of 18.5 million page views.

Although the statistics certainly point to a large amount of initial interest in Chrome, day-one statistics may vary significantly from long-term adoption rates, as users decide whether or not to use Chrome permanently.

The installation, dubbed “Your Home, Your Stadium,” ran in collaboration with two of Roborock’s partnerships: Real Madrid and Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. So, naturally, there was plenty of Real Madrid memorabilia on display, including a shirt signed by France striker Kylian Mbappe. Real Madrid and Brazil legend Roberto Carlos was present on the last day of the installation to greet fans.
