Dell has partnered with Susan C. Komen for the Cure to offer a new “Promise Pink” design option on a range of Dell notebooks, the sale of which will help raise money for breast cancer research, screening, and education. With the sale of every Promise Pink notebook, Dell will donate $5 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Dell is promising a minimum donation of $250,000 in 2009.
“With Dell’s Promise Pink laptops, people will be able to share their passion for the cause and show their support for those touched by breast cancer,” said Komen for the Cure VP of marketing Katrina McGhee, in a statement. “Dell users are joining the global breast cancer movement and helping us create a world without breast cancer.”
The Promise Pink design is now available on the Inspiron Mini 9 & Mini 12, the Inspiron 1525, the Studio 15 & Studio 17, Studio Hybrid, the XPS M1330, as well as the XPS M1530 and Latitude E4200.
The Promise Pink notebokos join Dell’s existing Product (Red) offerings, which raise money to support AIDS prevention, eduction, and treatment in Africa.
