What’s happened? Google has added a set of new travel planning and booking tools to its Search service. With the newly updated AI Mode, you’ll find three major new features:

  • Canvas in Search: When you describe a trip, Google will auto-build an itinerary right in Search, pulling flight, hotel, and activity info into a side panel so everything’s in one place.
  • AI-powered Flight Deals: The previously launched tool now works in over 200 countries and 60 languages. You can ask questions like “affordable beach getaway in March,” and the AI surfaces relevant destinations.
  • Agentic Booking: You can ask AI Mode to find and link to restaurant reservations, events, or appointments in the U.S. However, flight and hotel bookings are currently in development with partners like Booking.com and Expedia; they are expected to launch soon.

Why it matters? You probably already use Google Search when you wonder “Where to go?” or “What deals are out there?”

  • Now, instead of flipping between tabs, you can stay inside Search and let AI Mode build your itinerary, suggest options, and even set up bookings.
  • It turns Google Search from just a search engine into a travel assistant. And for anyone who dislikes jumping across travel sites, this could save a lot of hassle.
  • Google has also been expanding AI features, recently adding tools that help people shop faster and smarter during the holidays.

Why should I care? If you’ve ever felt frustrated while organizing a trip, switching between search results, sites, reviews, and booking portals, this update is for you.

  • Tell Google something like “Plan a weekend in Barcelona with food and museums” and let Canvas build it.
  • Use AI Mode to scan for flight deals across destinations with flexible dates.
  • In the U.S., you can already tell AI Mode to “Find an Italian restaurant for four in downtown Chicago at 7 pm” and it’ll pull real slots.

OK, what’s next? As the rollout for flight and hotel bookings is pending, don’t assume full booking automation yet.

  • AI Mode may use your searches, location, and preferences to personalize suggestions.
  • Review privacy settings to understand how much data you are sharing.

Finding photos is so much easier with Siri AI in iOS 27 that I no longer scroll
Natural language photo search in iOS 27 is the kind of feature that quietly becomes essential.
Electronics, Phone, Mobile Phone

My camera roll has crossed 8,000 photos, and it got there by capturing random moments (only to forget them later). The problem, however, starts when someone asks me to share something specific. It could be their portrait from last weekend or the food pictures they snapped using my phone.

Finding those pictures usually means scrolling through my seemingly endless camera roll. If the photo is a month or two old, I end up scrolling past hundreds of other images to find it, and that gets old fast.

Forget Apple’s AirTag, Motorola’s new Android tracker lasts over 500 days and costs less too
Moto Tag 2 could be the AirTag Android users actually buy
Moto Tag 2 with car keys

Motorola is finally bringing out its second-generation Android smart tracker. While Apple's AirTag has been hogging the limelight, the Moto Tag 2 is the new rival in town, arriving in North America starting June 30. It brings UWB (Ultra Wideband) tracking support, Bluetooth Channel Sounding, and Google Find Hub support in a compact tracker built for keys, bags, luggage, camera gear, and anything else people keep misplacing.

The real headline, though, is the battery life. Motorola claims that this is its longest-lasting smart tracker yet, with more than 500 days of battery life from a replaceable CR2032 battery.
