We got another look at Jurassic World over the weekend thanks to the new teaser for the film that aired during the Super Bowl, but the latest addition to the movie’s official website offers a peek inside the park itself.

The “Park Cam” section of JurassicWorld.com now offers “live” video from a series of cameras stationed around the Isla Nublar theme park. Camera locations include the Hatchery, the “Cretaceous Cruise” attraction, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Paddock, and the “Creation Lab,” among other video feeds.

At the moment, most of the feeds appear to depict business as usual at the park, with nothing out of the ordinary popping up in the video — unless you consider the clean-up crew in the “Gentle Giants Enclosure” taking a break from shoveling dinosaur poop an intriguing turn of events. However, it will be interesting to see if the feeds change on certain days or times leading up to the film’s premiere, and how they could change once the film hits theaters.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), Jurassic World unfolds 22 years after the events of the original Jurassic Park. The film stars Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help), Ty Simpkins (Insidious), Jake Johnson (Let’s Be Cops), Nick Robinson (The Kings of Summer), Irrfan Khan (Life of Pi), Vincent D’Onofrio (Daredevil), BD Wong (Jurassic Park), Omar Sy (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Judy Greer (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Lauren Lapkus (Blended), and Andy Buckley (Bridesmaids).

The film hits theaters June 12.

3 sci-fi movies on Peacock you need to watch in December
Vin Diesel in Pitch Black.

We've mentioned this before, but finding three sci-fi movies worth recommending on Peacock is truly a challenge. This site's sci-fi selection is like a mirage. There are a few great titles, but most of the movies are made up of titles like Airplane vs. Volcano, Bermuda Tentacles, and Jurassic City. Those are all actual films on Peacock, in case you thought we were joking.

Since the idea behind this list is to find something worth recommending, we've decided to go with the very first film that Vin Diesel appeared as Riddick, a science fiction knockoff movie from producer Roger Corman, and the final (for now) film in the Jurassic World franchise. These are the three sci-fi movies on Peacock that you need to watch in December.

3 movies like Netflix’s Leave the World Behind you should watch
The cast of Leave the World Behind.

2023 is winding down, but Netflix is closing out the year with a post-apocalyptic drama called Leave the World Behind. And if it's not the end of the world, then it sure feels like it. Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke star as Amanda and Clay Sandford, a couple who took their kids out on a vacation at a remote cabin. Unfortunately, the good times are short-lived when the cabin's owner, G.H. Scott (Mahershala Ali), and his daughter, Ruth (Myha'la), show up unannounced. From there, it soon becomes clear that something is wrong...but what?

Once you've finished watching Leave the World Behind, you can revisit the post-apocalypse in some similarly themed films. We've narrowed the selections down to three movies like Leave the World Behind, all of which made their debut within the last five years.
