The latest system update, version 5.2.0 U, for Nintendo’s Wii U has added a number of convenient features, including one just for the neat freaks: folders for the menu. Now you can taxonomize all of your games and apps to your heart’s content.
The update also adds other useful tweaks like the option to hide software from the relatively new Quick Start Menu, and a Download Management icon on the menu. Check out the complete list of updates here on Nintendo’s support page.
Nothing groundbreaking here, but if the current generation of consoles really does want to establish itself as the unified hub of your living room media ecosystem, these little touches of customization will go a long way toward making users comfortable with that proposition.
