Now that there have been a few more glamour shots released, this mysterious new smartphone is starting to look exactly like the U1 Hybrid. Lenovo announced at CES that the LePhone would be available for the Chinese WCDMA market in May this year.

Some of the phones notable features include a brilliant 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon, 3.5mm headphone jack, a camera on both the front and back, an Android 1.6 operating system, A-GPS, WiFi, removable battery and a proprietary 9-pin dock connector. The LePhone also sports a stylish new keypad (optional) that mirrors the IdeaPad U1’s detachable display. This new clamshell hasn’t had all of the specs and details unveiled yet, so we’ll just have to keep tabs on it.
