White iPhone 4 Delayed, Again, until Later this Year

white-iphone-4After failing to deliver the white iPhone 4 for its launch back in late June and promising it in late July, Apple has yet again missed the deadline on delivering the albino version of its hot-selling smartphone.

“White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected,” the company announced in a press release issued Friday. “And as a result they will not be available until later this year.”

Availability of the black model, which has already sold over 3 million units, should not be affected, although wait lines persist at Apple and AT&T stores.

If you’ve been holding out, watching friends dabble with their new iPhone 4s as you patiently await the white version, it might be time to give up. And if you’re really desperate, build one yourself.

The iPhone 16 Pro could get a charging upgrade we’ve waited years for
Blue Titanium iPhone 15 Pro with the USB-C cable it comes with.

Charging speeds for Apple iPhones have not improved for a considerable period. However, this may change with the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. As per ITHome, both models could support 40-watt wired charging and 20W MagSafe charging.

Interestingly, the news suggests only the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models will receive the charging improvements, not the expected iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models. While 40W still won't match phones like the OnePlus 12 with its 80W charging, it'll be a significant upgrade compared to previous iPhones.
