The future has arrived, and it’s surprisingly bendy. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 are here, providing everything you could possibly want from a foldable device. Want something powerful and productivity-based, with one of the biggest screens you can easily slip into a pocket? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is perfect for you. Or would you prefer something a little smaller that also comes with a massive, iPhone 12 Pro Max-sized display? Then check out the clamshell-style Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 instead.

But unfortunately, both of these devices aren’t at a price level where you can realistically own both — that is, unless you’re extremely well off. Instead, both devices’ four-figure prices mean you’ll likely have to pick one or the other. But regardless of which new folding device you pick, we can tell you your purchasing options. Here’s how to buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 or the Galaxy Z Flip 3. As befits a futuristic folding flagship from Samsung, you can buy both new devices from a number of retailers. Here are the most prominent.

Samsung is the preeminent place to buy your Samsung foldable, and if you choose to grab one from Samsung, you can score some exclusive colors for the Z Flip 3 as well. The three exclusive colors are gray, white, and pink, and you’ll only find them on Samsung.com.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 deals

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is probably the most advanced device Samsung has ever created, so it makes sense it’s extremely expensive. Prices are as follows:

Buy Now  — $1,500 upfront, or $41.67 per month for 36 months, $62.51 per month for 24 months, or $375 biweekly in four installments.

Buy Now  — $1,600 upfront, or $44.45 per month for 36 months, $66.68 per month for 24 months, or $400 biweekly in four installments.

You can trade in up to four devices to get up to $535 off your Z Fold 3, so if you’ve still got some older devices kicking about, this is the perfect chance to get rid of them. The trade-in isn’t restricted to just Samsung devices, and you can trade in phones, tablets, or smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 deals

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is just as advanced as the Z Fold 3, but being smaller, it won’t set you back as much. Still, the price is quite high. Here’s what it’ll set you back:

Buy Now  — $900 upfront, or $25.01 per month for 36 months, $37.51 per month for 24 months, or $225 biweekly in four installments.

Buy Now $950 upfront ($50 off), or $26.40 per month for 36 months, $39.59 per month for 24 months, or $237.50 biweekly in four installments.

Like with the Z Fold 3, you can trade in up to four devices as part of Samsung’s generous trade-in program. They can be from a range of manufacturers, across phones, tablets, and smartwatches, and can take up to $640 off either model.

Buying from AT&T

AT&T is offering some solid deals on the new foldable phones, including a generous trade-in program that could net you a Galaxy Z Flip 3 for very little a month.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 deals

Buy Now  — $1,800 upfront, or $50 per month for 36 months — or as low as $27.78 per month for 36 months with trade-in.

Buy Now  — $1,900 upfront, or $52.78 per month for 36 months — or as low as $30.56 per month for 36 months with trade-in.

If you want to pay for your phone upfront, then AT&T isn’t really the way to go, as its trade-in program doesn’t apply to buying the phone outright. Instead, the top tier of trade-in will get you your Z Fold 3 for over half off, with bill credits.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 deals

Buy Now  — $1,000 upfront, or $27.78 per month for 36 months — or as low as $5.56 with trade-in.

Buy Now $1,050 upfront, or $29.17 per month for 36 months — or as low as $6.95 per month for 36 months with trade-in.

Like the Z Fold 3 above, you won’t get money off the phone if you buy it upfront. However, if you have a top-tier device to trade in, you could get your phone a small amount a month, with bill credits. If you want to sample the future, this is an excellent option.

A full trade-in on T-Mobile’s EIP Magenta plan will get you a Z Flip 3 for much less (with bill credits), or you can get $400 off with trade-in on a postpaid plan instead.

3 Siri AI features that have genuinely improved my day-to-day life
Three years late, but Siri AI might have been worth the wait.
Siri Ai on iPhone

iOS 27 has finally brought the much-improved Siri experience to iPhones that Apple had promised three years back. The new Siri, dubbed Siri AI, actually feels useful now. I can use it to create shortcuts, get answers based on my personal context, perform actions in apps, and so much more. Of all the Siri AI features, three simple ones have genuinely improved my day-to-day experience. Let’s talk about them.

The AI phone era is coming, and the weird brands may not survive it
The market once had room for strange, scrappy, genuinely good phones. AI could turn that room into another luxury suite.
Electronics, Phone, Mobile Phone

I have a soft spot for phone brands that made Android feel less inevitable. Meizu is one example, but there were plenty of smaller names with their own strange little gravity, from Fairphone’s repair-first stubbornness to Unihertz’s tiny oddballs, Shiftphone’s modular ideals, Murena’s de-Googled pitch, and Teracube’s attempt to make phone ownership feel less disposable. They weren’t always perfect, and some were never built to go mainstream, but they made smartphones feel alive around the edges.

Now the AI phone push is arriving, and it already looks less like a creative explosion than a cover charge. Meizu said in 2024 that it would end new traditional smartphone projects and focus on AI-enabled devices, which sounds futuristic until it starts feeling like a warning label.

I was in love with my iPhone Air, until summer arrived
Turns out slim phones and scorching summers don't mix well.
iPhone Air in hand

When Apple unveiled the iPhone Air, I knew immediately it would be my next phone. I have always loved small phones, and I stretched my iPhone 13 mini for as long as possible. But it struggled to keep up with my usage, so I had to upgrade.

Since Apple no longer makes a small iPhone, the slim iPhone seemed like the right choice at the time. And honestly, it worked out well. While the iPhone Air is not as easy to handle as an iPhone mini, it is one-handable thanks to its slim profile and lower weight.
