If you’re just starting your shopping and afraid you missed out on the best Cyber Monday smartwatch deals, fret not. Many of them are live now. For instance, as part of the Walmart Cyber Monday sale, you can buy an Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra for just $49 — yes, you read that right. It usually costs $77, which is still a tremendous bargain, but right now, it’s even cheaper at only $49. Sure, it won’t compete with more popular smartwatches, but it’s the perfect entry point for many and also a good gift idea for children who love technology. At 20% off and under-$50, it was one of the better Cyber Monday deals we saw this year. It’s perfect if you’re gift shopping on a budget.

Why you should buy the Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra

The Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra is substantially cheaper than most smartwatches and is an incredibly affordable Apple Watch alternative. It’s perfect for the basics or if you’re not sure if a smartwatch is for you. It has a 2.0 AMOLED display with a thin, curved design, which offers sharp and bright colors. There are over 100 free watch face designs to choose from via the Aukey Watch app, so you can easily personalize its look to how you like it.

The Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra offers real-time heart rate tracking, which can even monitor heart rate fluctuations during sleep. Talking of sleep analysis, it monitors your deep, light, and REM sleep stages before providing tips on how to improve your slumber.

During more active moments, you can also track your steps, running distance, swimming laps, and calories burned. Alongside that, the Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra also provides notifications for all your calls, messages, social media, email, and more. Impressively, it still provides up to 15 days of battery life. It’s also IP67 water-resistant.

As you can tell by the looks, the Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra is trying to take after the Apple Watch Ultra and it won’t have the wow factor of the far pricier model, but it’s still a great way to enjoy the benefits of a smartwatch for a fraction of the price.

Usually costing $77, the Aukey Smartwatch 1 Ultra is down to $49 for a limited time in the Walmart Cyber Monday sale — with many deals still available. It was previously a great price for what it has to offer, but with an extra $28 off, it’s even more appealing. And that deal comes just in time for the holidays.

Bose’s next QuietComfort headphones could steal the Ultra’s best features
Bose QuietComfort deal

For the last few years, Bose has been in a slightly awkward position. Its standard QuietComfort headphones have remained an easy recommendation, but they've also felt a little... forgotten. While the Ultra lineup grabbed the spotlight with new features and a refreshed design, the regular QuietComfort stayed the same. That may finally be about to change.

A new leak suggests Bose is preparing a QuietComfort (2nd Gen) model, and if it's accurate, this looks like Bose bringing its mainstream headphones much closer to its premium offering.
