Best Surface Laptop and Surface Pro deals: From $447

While the MacBook Air and the Dell XPS lineup of laptops may be some of the best thin and light laptops out there, it’s worth considering Microsoft’s Surface laptops, which are also great. Surface laptops are pretty light and are a good alternative if you don’t want to go with either Dell or Apple. In fact, you can get everything from a budget-oriented option to the high-end Microsoft Studio, which is almost like a portable desktop and great for creative pros. Of course, the bigger problem is that a lot of these can get a little bit pricey, and for some of the older models, there really are only renewed or refurbished models.

We’ve collected some of our favorite deals below, but if you’re still looking for something a bit different, check out these laptop deals and 2-in-1 laptop deals, and maybe even these MacBook deals

Microsoft

The Microsoft Surface Pro 9 is a powerful device made for working professionals and content creators, thought it’s something that can be put to good use by anyone. It’s been the flagship of the Surface lineup since is launch, and it remains the newest Surface Pro model in the lineup. It has a lot in common with its predecessor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8, but manages to improve upon many of the things people loved about the previous generation. The Surface Pro 9 packs impressive performance capabilities without sacrificing portability, and the 13-inch PixelSense Flow touchscreen has a refresh rate of 120Hz. This makes it a great device to play games on, but an even better choice for content creators. The high refresh rate creates a snappy and responsive interface no matter what you may be working on, and the ergonomics of the device chip in as well, allowing you to mark up, edit, or create at almost any angle.

Apple’s Fall launch event was pretty stacked, as the company delivered an ultra-slim iPhone, improved flagship earbuds, and a trio of smartwatches. Now, it seems the company is focused on unveiling its next wave of computing gear, and they could be revealed next week.

What’s on the horizon?

What's happened? Apple today lifted the covers off the next-gen M5 MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models, both featuring its latest M5 chip.

iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, and Vision Pro.

Apple is shifting into the next phase of computing with the launch of new machines powered by the M5 chip. In a single batch, the company revealed three “new” machines equipped with its next-gen processor – a refreshed iPad Pro in two sizes, a 14-inch MacBook Pro, and a second-generation Vision Pro headset.

The term “new” is a tad subjective here. All these machines look exactly like their respective predecessors. Additionally, the focus on AI enhancements somewhat took away from their standalone merits. What caught my attention was that these new devices don't try to make a huge splash with head-turning changes.
