Dutch automaker Savage Rivale impresses with its Roadyacht GTS supercar

The Dutch aren’t exactly known for their automotive prowess, but it looks like Netherlands-based supercar startup Savage Rivale is looking to change all of that. The small boutique automaker has introduced its latest creation, the Roadyacht GTS, and while we have always been told not to judge a book by its cover, we can’t help think that the Rodyacht GTS will be an exceptional “read” by looking simply at its sleek and elegant design.

But apart from the sharp and sleek profile the Roadyacht GTS is sporting, the Dutch supercar packs some pretty impressive specs under the carbon hood as well. The hand-made supercar features a 670-hosepower V8 engine, maxes out at an impressive 205 mph and can go 0-60 in 3.4 seconds. Not too shabby for a four-door convertible.

The body of the Roadyacht GTS is made of a chrome molybdeme chassis and carbon body panels, while the four-doors feature a unique suicide wing design. The interior of the Roadyacht GTS features all the luxury you would expect from a high-end sportscar like a touchscreen controlled dashboard and leather interior, while also sporting some more unique options such as a custom watch with built-in keyless entry, and a champagne cooler –perfect for those sun-filled trips around the French Riviera.

The R2 is targeted at being a more affordable take on the electric SUV and will sit alongside the flagship-tier R1S.

Let's get this out of the way right now: The R1S is most likely going to be a better vehicle than the R2. Rivian isn't replacing the R1S with the R2 — it's releasing the R2 as a more affordable alternative, and there will be some compromises when buying the R2 over the R1S.

Don’t let the gimmicks fool you. The Ioniq 5 N is a serious track car
2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N drifting.

We’re finally getting to the fun part of automakers’ methodical quest to replicate their lineups with electric cars.

Performance versions of ordinary cars have been a staple of the auto industry for decades. But while we’ve already seen some variants of EVs boasting more power and more impressive stats — think Tesla Model S Plaid or Lucid Air Sapphire — the 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is the first to truly apply that format to an EV.
