Sennheiser’s GSP 350 headset aims to tailor sound for each individual gamer

Earlier this year, Sennheiser released its flagship PC 373D gaming headset. That’s great for the gamer who spares no expense when it comes to maximum immersion, but not great for gamers on a budget. Sennheiser’s new GSP 350 gaming headset provides its fair share of features, but keeps the price a little lower to minimize the hit to your wallet.

“This new headset is one of the first products in our all new gaming portfolio, a range designed from the ground up to be the ultimate accessories for optimizing the performance and experience of gamers,” Sennheiser product manager of gaming Andreas Jessen said in a statement. “Whether through the incredibly accurate sound that places you deeper in the game and provides the enhanced spatial awareness you need to compete, or through ergonomics that allow you to react in a heartbeat — the GSP 350 offers a winning combination.”

The GSP 350 headset features memory foam ear pads that provide a combination of acoustic isolation and comfort, ideal for long gameplay sessions. The headset uses a closed-back design and an adjustable split headband inspired by aviation headsets to allow for a better, more comfortable fit.

The headset features a volume control located on the right ear cup for quick adjustments, while like other recently released headsets from Sennheiser, lifting the boom arm automatically mutes the mic. The built-in mic also automatically blocks out breathing sounds — something your teammates will appreciate. A dongle that plugs into the user’s PC allows for switching between standard stereo operation and Dolby 7.1 surround sound.

The hardware is only part of the package here. Sennheiser also includes software that allows the gamer to easily tailor the sound to their preferences. Four equalizer settings are available: one for standard gaming, an eSports mode, a music mode, and a neutral setting that offers the most transparent audio.

The Sennheiser GSP 350 will sell for a retail price of $140 and will be available beginning in November. A detachable cable is included for use with a PC, while an optional cable for stereo use with Macs, consoles, and mobile devices is available separately. See the Sennheiser website for more information.

The Samsung TU69OT 4K Smart TV on a media cabinet in a living room.

Samsung is one of the best TV brands on the market right now, and if you're looking to pick up a new TV, then going for one is a smart choice, especially if you're already in the Samsung ecosystem. One great option we've found is this massive 75-inch Samsung TU690T that's not only packed with features but also has a nice little discount that will save you a bit of extra cash. While it usually goes for $580, you can grab it now from Best Buy for just $550, which will save you a tidy $30.

Why you should buy the 75-inch Samsung TU690T
There's a lot to love about the 75-inch Samsung TU690T, least of all being its massive size and the fact that it not only runs at 4K but even has an internal upscaler that will upscale your older content to 4K. That's perfect for those who love to watch older shows and don't want to lose out on quality with a newer, bigger TV. In a similar vein, the support for HDR 10+ means better contrast and image fidelity for your content, and while that won't apply to older upscaled content, it will apply to newer streamed shows and films.
