Caleb Denison/Digital Trends

The Sony A95L is one of the best TVs ever made, and that’s a statement we’ll be willing to stand by for years to come. Unfortunately, this flagship Sony QD-OLED is extremely expensive, which may push a lot of folks away from such a great TV. Every once in a while, though, this TV goes on sale, including right now!

For a limited time, you can order the Sony 65-inch A95L 4K QD-OLED directly through Sony, or through Amazon, Best Buy, and a few other retailers, and you’ll pay $3,000. That’s still a healthy chunk of change, but that’s also a $500 discount off the TV’s full price.

Why you should buy the Sony 65-inch A95L Series

We tested the Sony A95L a couple of years ago, and the editor at large, Caleb Denison, was utterly blown away. Scoring it a perfect 5 out of 5 stars, Denison said, “The Sony A95L is the best television of 2023. Full stop.” He also praised the TV for its remarkable color accuracy and overall brightness, near-perfect contrast levels, and fantastic upscaling. Yeah, it’s hard to beat this TV, and it’s a year older than most sets sitting on the market right now!

Sony’s Cognitive Processor XR has been a staple of Bravia TVs for the last several years, and the picture engine shows up in full force with the A95L. Viewers can expect a wide color gamut with detailed, lifelike visuals and astonishing SDR brightness, making this a great TV for bright or darkly lit rooms. The A95L also delivers cutting-edge HDR highlights and smooth motion clarity, thanks to the panel’s native 120Hz refresh rate.

HDMI 2.1 connectivity on ports 3 and 4 makes the A95L a solid choice for gamers looking for low input lag and fast response times. PS5 owners are even treated to extra in-game optimizations like Auto HDR Tone Mapping. When it comes to apps, casting, and smart home controls, the A95L uses Google TV OS for all things internet-connected.

Save $500 when you purchase the Sony 65-inch A95L 4K QD-OLED today. We also suggest looking at our collections of the best Sony TV deals, the best QLED TV deals, and the best OLED TV deals.

The new Acton IV and Stanmore IV bring improved acoustics, Auracast support, and a more repair-friendly design.
Marshall launches Acton IV and Stanmore IV

Marshall has refreshed two of its most popular wireless speakers. The company has officially unveiled the Acton IV and Stanmore IV, bringing a series of meaningful upgrades that go beyond simply making them louder. While improved bass and cleaner sound are part of the package, Marshall is also making a welcome push toward repairability, allowing owners to replace several external components instead of replacing the entire speaker.

I was skeptical of clip-style open earbuds. After trying my first pair, I don’t want to go back
No pressure, no plugged-up feeling, no fatigue. After months of all-day wear, open-air audio earclips have earned a permanent spot in my routine.
Baseus Bowie MC2 earclip earbuds.

I am not what you would call an audiophile. I don't obsess over terms like LDAC and DSEE upscaling. For me, they're just another utilitarian gadget to get the job done. Somewhere along the way, however, I stopped judging earbuds purely on how they sound and started paying closer attention to how naturally they fit into an ordinary day.

So much of this category now chases bass, noise cancellation, and a spec sheet full of features that comfort has quietly become an afterthought. I recently got a chance to try the Baseus Bowie MC2, my first pair of earclip-style earbuds. It came as a revelation for me. I picked them up from Amazon at $40, so it wasn't a big hit on my wallet either. The leap of faith, I'd say, was well worth it.
