Regardless of what may be happening at the corporate level for Microsoft, the company has some phones to sell. The computing giant and its partner Nokia are hoping AT&T’s network can help them in that mission. AT&T announced today that it will be bringing the Nokia Lumia 925 to subscribers starting September 13, 2013 for $100 with a two-year contract agreement or $21 a month on AT&T Next.
Microsoft and Nokia have had the most luck with AT&T thus far. The carrier is the leading seller of Windows Phones. The Lumia 925, with its metal design, hopes to continue building off this success. The phone offers users a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display, a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor that clocks in at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of on-device storage.
As with many Nokia phones, the camera on the Lumia 920 is one of its finer selling points. The 8.7-megapixel PureView camera promises users six different lenses, optical image stabilization, and advanced optics. Combined with the Nokia Smart Camera feature that is able to capture 10 simultaneous shots and let users create the best picture with editing features and the Nokia Pro Camera app that allows experienced photographers to make their own adjustments on the fly and the Nokia Lumia 925 becomes a solid choice for any photo fanatic.
