In a surprise move today, Apple unleashed their new 1GB iPod Nano to consumers. The new iPod can hold up to 240 songs or 150,000 photos and comes in white and black like the other Nanos. It will retail for $149, which makes the Nano even more affordable to those in the market for a new portable music player. The Nano has been a hit since it was first released in September 2005 due to its ultra-thin design and sharp color LCD.
