CES 2020 is finally here and many companies will be holding press conferences to show off all of their latest innovations. Dell hosts its own press conference each year, showing off its latest laptops, gaming gear, and other products.
Here’s everything you know about how to watch and follow along.
How to watch Dell’s CES 2020 press conference
Falling on the third day of the week-long electronics show, Dell will be holding its keynote at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, January 7. That’s 1:00 p.m. EST.
You can watch the press conference live on YouTube above, and if you miss it, an archived version will be available for viewing once it ends.
What to expect
Dell already dropped some news in the days before CES, announcing details on the new XPS 13, a new Latitude 9510, new monitors, and conceptual devices. You can expect a big portion of the keynote to discuss innovations in these areas.
Dell representatives will likely talk about the new slim-bezel “4-sided Infinity Edge” display on the XPS 13, as well as design changes like the new keyboard and a slightly larger trackpad. You also can expect to hear about what’s new on the Latitude 9510, as well some more details on why Dell is calling it the “smallest, lightest ultra-premium Business PC.”
Of course, there also will be some mention of the conceptual products that were previewed in the day before the keynote. Timed after Microsoft’s October 2019 Surface event, it was previously announced that Dell would be working on a dual-screen PC. Of course, Dell didn’t have many specifics at the time, but we’ve since gone hands-on with what we now know as the two new concepts from Dell, the foldable Ori, and the dual-screen Duet. Dell will likely dive deeper into each of the concepts and explain what it means for the future of computing.
We’ll definitely hear more about these experimental products, but who knows? Maybe Dell has saved a couple of surprises too.
