Hot on the heels of the Nook price drop, Barnes & Noble has also released the Firmware 1.4 update which adds a few new changes to the popular ereader. Overall, the performance across the board should be improved according to Barnes & Noble, but there are a few specific updates that should be pointed out:
1) Better (and free) AT&T WiFi hotspot support which includes restaurants, hotels and locations where you see the AT&T WiFi signs.
2) There is now an extra large font size available
3) The new “Go-To-Page” feature which will let you go directly to the page you specify in your eBook
