This news got a little lost in the wake of Apple‘s introduction yesterday of Intel-powered Mac minis and the iPod Hi-Fi stereo unit, but the company’s iTunes Music Store yesterday added three new shows from the Bravo cable channel to its video offerings, plus five films nominated for Best Live Action Short Film at this year’s 78th annual Academy Awards.
The iTunes Music Store now carries episodes of three Bravo television series, Inside the Actor’s Studio, Project Runway, and Top Chef. The Bravo channel is owned by NBC Universal, whose channels already have several programs available for sale via the iTunes Music Store, including stalwarts like Law & Order and the sci-fi hit Battlestar Galactica.
The Oscar-nominated short films include “Our Time Is Up,” “Cashback,” “Six Shooter,” “Ausreisser (The Runway),” and “The Last Farm.”
Like other iTunes video content, both the television episodes and short films are available for $1.99 each.
