Apple’s iTunes Music Store will begin carrying recaps and full games from the 2006 NBA playoffs, starting within 24 hours of each game’s conclusion. Fans will be able to download every remaining playoff and finals game broadcast by all NBA networks, including ESPN, ABC, TNT, and NBATV. Playoff games will get 15 to 20 minute recaps, while the complete game of each finals matchup (which start on June 8) will be available for download.
Individual games and recaps will be available a la carte for $1.99 apiece, but three other packages are available. The $8.99 “Follow Your Team” option which includes recaps of every game their team plays from the Semifinals to the Finals, along with a season recap video. The $8.99 “Inside the NBA on TNT” option including every episode of TNT’s Inside the NBA from the Semifinals and the Finals, along with exclusive bonus segments. Finally, the $5.99 “The Finals” option will receive complete replays of each game of ABC’s Finals coverage.
