Rango debuts new explosion filled Super Bowl trailer

Yesterday’s Super Bowl was one of the highest rated of all time, and as a result, the ads were among the most high profile of the early year, especially to hype upcoming films. No fewer than nine movies had spots during the game- in fact you could even say that movie makers blitzed the advertising lineup! You probably shouldn’t though, because that would be silly.

Among the films gracing the Super Bowl ad lineup was the film Rango, an animated tale of the lizard who lends his name to the title (voiced by Johnny Depp), who after a life as a pampered pet finds himself in the Old West town of Dirt. Rango fancies himself a hero, and through a series of what others would describe as luck and coincidence but Rango would call heroism, the townspeople come to see him as a hero as well and name him sheriff. This doesn’t sit well the town’s local outlaw crew, and Rango is suddenly in way over his head.

The animated movie marks the first feature length animated film for Industrial Light and Magic.

Directed by Gore Verbinski (The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, The Weather Man), the film also stars the voice talents of Isla Fisher, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Ray Winstone, Timothy Olyphant, and many others. Look for Rango in theaters on March 4.

You’ll be able to stream the Super Bowl for free (legally)
State Farm Stadium SuperBowl LVII logo.

In years prior, football's major event was tough to watch online, depending on where you live, and whether or not you had access to cable TV. With Super Bowl LVII, that's not the case. In fact, you'll be able to stream the Super Bowl, and the beloved Super Bowl Halftime Show featuring Rihanna and more, all for free, and legally to boot. There are no crazy workarounds, you're not breaking any rules or laws, and the best part is that you have a few different options for doing so -- you're not locked into one particular method. Of course, one of the best ways to watch the Super Bowl is FuboTV.

Normally, cutting the cord means spending money for a premium streaming subscription, with packages chopped up and handed to you piecemeal. A lot of streaming services divvy out the available channels, offering various packages for people who like to watch particular types of content. At least with sports, that's not the case for FuboTV. You don't have to invest a ton to start watching either, thanks to the FuboTV free trial. That allows you to sign up and start streaming for an entire week. If you sign up now, you'll be able to stream the Super Bowl totally free, from any of your compatible devices. That includes your phone, tablet, smart TV, or streaming media player, as long as you have access to the FuboTV app. The sooner you sign up and install the app on your devices the better -- we wouldn't want you to miss out on the libations because of a technical error.

The best Super Bowl 2022 commercials
Mike Myers as Doctor Evil in a Super Bowl ad.

Super Bowls get the best TV ads. It's just a fact that advertisers put more time and effort into their Super Bowl commercials because they know that this is the television event of the year, one of the last remaining broadcast programs that can attract around 100 million people at the same time. It transcends even the sport of football itself since people love to watch for the ads alone. So the pressure is always on to come up with something funny and memorable that also makes viewers want to buy the product. That's never an easy trick to pull off, but there were definitely some worthy additions this year. And now, you can find them all in one place within our roundup of the best Super Bowl 2022 commercials.
Evil Is Back For Good
EVil Is Back For Good | #EVerybodyIn

Austin Powers' greatest villains are back in General Motors' newest Super Bowl ad. Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) refuses to be the second-most dangerous threat to the world. That's because Number 2 (Rob Lowe), Frau Farbissina (Mindy Sterling), and Scott Evil (Seth Green) have convinced him that the world needs to be saved from emissions before he can take it over. It's goofy, but the cast seamlessly slips right back into their characters after nearly 20 years away.
