iPod peripheral and accessory maker Speakal might be best known for its iPanda, but the company has just rolled out a scary new product that might win over some hearts and minds. The iBoo iPod speaker system is shaped like a smiling ghost: pop your dock-compatible iPod or iPhone into its head, and suddenly your tunes fill the room.
The iBoo is available in red, blue, and (of course) white, and features 3 mid-range speakers for "eyes" and a down-firing 9 watt subwoofer. The unit’s total output is 15 watts, and it features a 3.5mm auxiliary input jack for connecting other PMPs or devices. The iBoo includes a remote to control iPod functions, charges an iPod while docked, and features rubberized feet to keep the unit from vibrating on a surface while playing music.
The iBoo carries a suggested retail price of $89.99.
