If you’ve been debating whether to pay for a Playstation Plus subscription, Sony has sweetened the deal by offering up some vicious, man-eating dinosaurs to new subscribers.

Announced via the official Playstation Blog, any one-year subscriptions purchased between November 1-8 (priced at $49.99) will receive all four episodes of Jurassic Park: The Game when it’s released November 15. The complete series of Telltale Games’ dinosaur-filled adventure game would cost $29.99 normally.

Current Playstation Plus subscribers don’t have to feel left out, as they can renew their subscription before November 8 to receive Jurassic Park.

If you already have a Playstation Plus subscription card, you’ll need to redeem it before November 8 in order to be eligible for the deal.

PlayStation acknowledges Jak and Daxter fans with March’s PS Plus game lineup

Sony today unveiled the March 2024 lineup of new games for the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra catalog. Jak and Daxter fans, whom PlayStation and Naughty Dog rarely acknowledge, got a win today as the PSP version of Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier is getting rereleased for the first time via PlayStation Plus Premium on March 19.

Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier was released for PSP and PS2 in 2009 and is the closest thing we've ever gotten to a Jak 4. Although it's not as well-polished as Naughty Dog's trilogy, it's an important piece of Jak and Daxter history that wasn't easily playable outside of original hardware until this month. Hopefully, this sets the stage for PS Plus Premium rerelease of Daxter will eventually happen, although that isn't confirmed at this time.

Rise of the Ronin is a grab bag of gaming’s greatest hits
Rise of the Ronin's character on a horse.

When I grappled to the roof of a building using my hook, I felt like I'd played Rise of the Ronin before. That’s not a bad thing; I’ve played many of Team Ninja’s previous games, but it felt oddly familiar, in a bloody comforting way.

Team Ninja has released titles at a regular cadence over the past several years, and it’s impressive that the studio has been able to maintain at least a certain level of quality. The developer has experimented with different genres in that time too. It took on the Soulslike genre with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Nioh, the fighting game realm with Dead or Alive, and action RPGs with Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. This year, Team Ninja is releasing Rise of the Ronin for PlayStation 5 and taking a swing at the open-world RPG. Its gameplay incorporates many systems from Team Ninja’s previous games, and draws inspiration from other developers like FromSoftware.

PlayStation Plus has undergone several iterations and changes since its introduction. Originally, the service wasn't required for online play at all and rewarded subscribers with extra discounts and free monthly games. Once the PlayStation 4 generation began, it was required for online play but still offered those same benefits.

Now, PS Plus is divided into three different tiers of subscriptions. The basic tier, PS Plus Essential, still gets three games per month added, while the Extra and Premium tiers will have a varying number of games added to their catalogs. With hundreds of games already and more coming and going all the time, even the most dedicated gamer won't be able to play everything on offer. To help you get the most bang for your buck and so that no hidden gems fly under your radar, here are all the best games to play on PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium right now.

As is usually the case, everyone with the lowest tier of PS Plus gets three games this month, two with PlayStation 5 versions and one with a PS4 version. Here's what you can play this month:
