The best iPhone 11 Pro screen protectors

The iPhone 11 Pro is a powerful mobile device for anyone who wants a smaller phone, and this model is still sought after despite being the last generation. Smaller than the iPhone 11 and the super-sized iPhone 11 Pro Max, the iPhone 11 Pro has a powerful Apple A13 processor, a triple-lens camera, and excellent battery life. Every last bit of this handset experience goes through its 5.8-inch screen. The Super Retina XDR AMOLED display is a stunning sight to behold, but it won’t remain so if it takes a tumble and shatters or gathers a collection of ugly scratches and oily fingerprints. Keep it protected with one of the best iPhone 11 Pro screen protectors we cover below.

Whitestone should be your first choice when looking for a screen protector. The Dome Glass protector is made from hard tempered glass which provides a solid barrier between your phone and the outside world, protecting it from scratches, bumps, and chips. But it’s not the protector itself that’s special — it’s the way it’s attached. The Whitestone Dome Glass employs a liquid adhesive that is cured with the included UV lamp, ensuring a solid fit and boosting touch sensitivity. It can even be applied on an already scratched screen, as the adhesive will stop it from getting worse. It’s expensive, but it’s very good.

Purity Screen Protector

There’s a reason why the Purity screen protector is highly rated on Amazon — it’s affordable, comes in a triple pack, has an installation frame, and the oleophobic coating replicates the same coating that’s on the actual iPhone 11 Pro’s display. Applying a screen protector can be a daunting task, especially if you have shaky hands. Thankfully, the included frame makes the installation process as easy as setting the screen protector along the edges of the template. The glass is ultra-clear, and the hydrophobic and oleophobic coating protects your screen from being stained by the sweat and oils of your fingers, keeping your phone looking pristine.

Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector

With great cases come great screen protectors. Spigen has long been a reputable brand in the smartphone industry and its screen protector doesn’t disappoint. Installation is very easy. The glass comes pre-attached to the installation tray, so all you have to do is place the tray over your iPhone 11 Pro, and let the adhesive do the rest. The finished product is a perfectly set tempered glass screen protector that’s rated at 9H hardness and feels smooth to the touch. Packed with two screen protectors, the product is a great deal.

ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass+

One of the biggest concerns with screen protectors is separating them from the glass when applying a case. While slimmer than others, the ZAGG InvisibleShield Glass+ is built to be case-friendly while maintaining the scratch and impact-resistant features of a conventional screen protector. The glass is precisely cut for the iPhone 11 Pro and doesn’t hinder the touch responsiveness thanks to its thinness. What makes ZAGG unique to other brands is its partnership with Verizon, so you can pick up a screen protector at your local carrier store if you don’t want to wait on delivery.

Tech21 Scratch and Finger Print Resistant Impact Glass

Tech21 is one of the biggest names in mobile phone protection, and its selection of screen protectors for the iPhone 11 Pro lives up to its reputation. The Impact Glass screen protector is scratch-resistant, clear and responsive, and easy to apply. The company’s testing proves that it protects against repeated drops as well as shields your phone from scratches to preserve a new-screen feeling. You can see your screen clearly and control it with light gestures. A precise-align applicator is included for easy installation. You can count on the cover to stay in place and bubble-free for at least two years and it works perfectly with Tech21’s assortment of iPhone cases for complete protection.

Belkin InvisiGlass

Belkin’s strength is in creating a simple product with extra-high quality, and the InvisiGlass doesn’t disappoint. This durable screen protector is designed with an ion-exchange strengthening process to make sure it’s as tough as possible, and won’t suffer the cracks or flaws of some cheaper screens. It’s been tested on coins, keys, and pavement drops, but the 9H hardness rating keeps any damage from appearing. The protector is also precision-cut to be as thin as possible so that you don’t lose any touch sensitivity when you use your phone. There’s a reason it’s one of the few screen protectors Apple sells directly on its site.

Ferilinso Screen Protector 3-Pack

Many users bought the iPhone 11 Pro intending to use its upgraded camera for photography, vlogging, and other photo-intensive hobbies or professions. If you are one of those users, you may want to consider some protection for your camera lenses as well. This option has a pack of great 9H-rated, tempered glass protectors, but backs those up with a pack for your camera lenses as well. They promise a light transmittance rate of 99.99%, and they’ll help protect your camera lenses against dust, accidental scratches in your pocket, and similar hazards.

Bodyguardz SpyGlass Edge

Screen protectors can do a lot more than just protect the glass, and the SpyGlass Edge from Bodyguardz is a great example of a protector with a few extra tricks. The SpyGlass Edge has a special coating that fades to black when viewed from an angle while keeping it crystal clear when viewed from the front. It’s intended to keep away prying eyes — and it’s perfect for anyone who uses mobile banking, handles confidential data, or just likes their privacy. The glass is strong and durable too. A great option if you hate people reading over your shoulder, but keep in mind it’ll make it harder to share amusing videos or images with nearby friends.

RhinoShield Screen Protector

This is another film protector, but one that RhinoShield says has been tested to the highest possible standards against impact — it was hit with a hammer. We never recommend hitting your phone with a hammer regardless of protection, but if it’s even half as protective as RhinoShield claims — and it also says the Impact Protection can absorb five times the impact of Gorilla Glass 3 — then your display should be virtually indestructible. It’s as thin as a single sheet of printer paper, and though $25 is a fair amount of cash, this slim guardian could be worth it.

Using WhatsApp on an older iPhone? Then take note
WhatsApp logo on a phone.

An update to WhatsApp will reportedly end support for iPhone operating system versions prior to iOS 15.1, which Apple released in 2021. It means that anyone using WhatsApp on an iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, or iPhone 6 Plus will have to get a newer iPhone to continue using the messaging service, or ditch the app for another one.

The good news is that there’s plenty of time to decide upon a solution, as support for these older iPhones isn’t set to end until May 5, 2025, according to WABetaInfo, which first reported the development.

iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max action button

One of the newest iPhone features, the customizable Action button, could eventually be added to other Apple products, including the iPad and Mac. In addition, future iPhones could have multiple Action buttons. The U.S. Patent Office recently published a patent application (via Patently Apple) that explores these possibilities.

The iPhone Action button was first introduced with the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max and later became available on all iPhone 16 models. This versatile button offers a new level of personalization and efficiency, giving you quick access to your most-used features with a simple click.

It looks like the iPhone 17 Pro may have a titanium design after all
A person holding the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max.

In a shining example of why leaks cannot be taken fully at face value, the iPhone 17 Pro might be made of titanium after all. Last week, we reported a leak that suggested the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max handsets could use an aluminum frame for the first time since 2016. Now, another leak suggests that information is inaccurate, and the premium iPhone models will not opt for a less expensive material after all.

"Looking back at the iPhone in recent years, Apple has always focused on promoting the high-end frame materials of the Pro series as one of its selling points, from 'surgical grade stainless steel' to 'titanium.' How can it be said that it was replaced with aluminum?" says Setsuna Digital, a leaker on Weibo.
