How to pre-order Apple’s new iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12, Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5

Apple's latest lineup is finally official. If you're interested in one of the new devices, here's how you can pre-order them to get your new iPhone, Apple Watch, or AirPods as soon as they launch.

Apple has refreshed its hardware portfolio with its most ambitious lineup yet. Headlining the company's September 9 event is its first-ever foldable, the iPhone Duo, and it's joined by the iPhone 18 Pro series, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and the AirPods 5. Pre-orders for all devices, except the iPhone Duo, begin September 12, with general in-store and online availability starting September 18. The iPhone Duo will be available for pre-order starting October 16, with retail availability set to begin October 23.

Apple will handle pre-orders through its official website and the Apple Store app. The devices will also be available for pre-order through major US carriers and authorized retailers. Here's a breakdown of available configurations, colors, and where to secure your pre-order.

Samsung has been making foldables for the better part of seven years now, refining hinges, screens, and software with every generation. Apple is just now showing up to the party with its very first foldable, the iPhone Duo.

And yet, somehow, Apple's rookie attempt is already taking direct aim at the areas where Samsung's veteran foldables have quietly lost ground. Here are five spots where the iPhone Duo looks like it has the edge over the Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Apple surely took its time to launch its first foldable iPhone. However, the device it has revealed comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. For a folding phone, the 6 in that rating is the part worth paying attention to.

IP ratings use two numbers. The first measures protection against solid particles such as dust, while the second covers water resistance. A rating of IP68 means the iPhone Duo gets the highest level of dust protection under the standard and strong protection against water. Apple says the phone was tested at depths of up to 6 meters for 30 minutes.
