OK people, let’s get down to brass tacks. We here at DT like gaming. If you are reading this article then you most likely enjoy gaming as well (or free stuff, which is fair). We have a bunch of games to give away, and so we had an idea. It was revolutionary. The first of its kind! We’ll give the games away to people and call it a “giveaway!” That’s breakthrough thinking right there.

Assuming your mind is not yet blown, then here is what we were thinking: Head on over to the DT Gaming section, then post your favorite gaming story you’ve seen recently in the comments below. We just want to know what you like, and what you want to see more of from the gaming news.

So that’s it — just comment below and let us know your favorite gaming stories that you read on DT gaming, and you will be entered to win a copy of Ubisoft’s Driver: San Francisco for the PS3, one of the best and most underrated games of 2011. Check out our full review.

The contest will run from now until Friday, April 13 at noon PST. We will then contact the winner, and once they have confirmed they are a genuine human being, we will let everyone know the contest is kaput… and there’s more.

We have a handful of games to give away, and each week for the rest of the month we will have a different game to offer. It may be for the 360, it may be for the PS3. We’ll keep it spicy, so check back each week for a new giveaway!

Gaming laptops have boomed in the past few years, and while they won't compete with some of the best gaming desktops, there are a lot of solid options out there. In fact, even some of the most budget-friendly gaming laptops should be able to handle the best PC games on the market, although admittedly with some compromises here and there. We've gone out and scoured all the major retailers and brands and collected all our favorite deals for you below. A lot of these laptops are also found among the best Lenovo laptop deals, Acer laptop deals, Dell laptop deals and HP laptop deals. If you can't quite find what you want, it's worth checking some of these other great laptop deals as well.
Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop -- $751, was $950

The Acer Nitro 5 is a good gaming laptop to consider if you’re looking for some value. It has internal hardware that’s hard to find at such a great price, including a 12th-generation Intel processor with eight cores, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, which is an entry-level GPU. These work together to make your gaming experience immersive and smooth, and a 512GB solid-state drive makes for a lot of space to store your favorite PC games. You also get an impressive 17.3-inch screen that runs at FHD and a 144Hz refresh rate, although the RTX 3050 might struggle with that without graphical setting compromises.

One of the reasons Among Us took off in popularity was how simple the game is to understand. It has charming, but basic graphics, and the mechanics of one team trying to secretly kill the other without getting caught was hugely appealing. bur what made it so accessible were the social elements where everyone would argue their case and try to convince others of who the killer was to send them out of the airlock. As great as that simplicity is, it does eventually get a little old even with the new roles added in 2021. Among Us mods breathe new life into this fantastic game with quality-of-life upgrades and entirely new ways to play. We understand that a lot of mods out there are pretty sus, but you can trust that these are the best ones available.
