Fandango, IMAX Tango with New Portal

Like the big screen IMAX experience? What a place to find all of the theatres nationwide which play these types of films and perhaps buy tickets for them online? Fandango and IMAX have teamed to create a co-branded portal specifically related to the film format which is approximately ten times larger than the standard film frame used to show regular movies.

The co-branded portal, which is live now, features move information, showtimes and advanced ticket sales where possible (not all IMAX theatres are tied into the Fandango ticketing system, though links to those specific theatres’ websites are included). The launch of this site comes a week before the release of Batman returns, which opens in regular and IMAX formats on June 15.

A recent Fandango moviegoer poll, according to a company issued press release, indicates that Batman Begins is the most requested IMAX title this year. Another highly anticipated IMAX release is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which opens nationwide July 15.

“Fandango is always looking for new ways to offer additional customer conveniences,” says Art Levitt, CEO of Fandango. “IMAX’s immersive format is a spectacular way to see a movie, and Fandango is proud to help moviegoers guarantee seats to the ultimate moviegoing experience.”

“The new IMAX-Fandango portal is a great resource for movie fans,” said IMAX Co-Chairmen and Co-CEOs Richard L. Gelfond and Bradley J. Wechsler, “and we’re excited to be working with Fandango to make The IMAX Experience(R) more accessible to moviegoers across North America.”

The most common Google Home problems and how to fix them
best google home compatible devices hands on 4652

Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home make up the three biggest smart home platforms on the planet. Google Home is popular thanks to its lineup of Nest products, which includes the Nest Hub Max, Nest Doorbell, and Nest Cam, along with many other devices. Best of all, Google Home supports a wide array of third-party products, giving users an easy way to link all their gadgets together and control them from one streamlined app.

But, as you'd expect, getting all these devices working seamlessly isn't always as easy as it sounds. The Google Home platform is also susceptible to the same issues as other smart home platforms, which include various connectivity hiccups and problems with voice commands. Solving these problems is usually pretty easy -- that is, once you know where to look.
