Forza 4 heads to Indianapolis, shows off its early DLC and introduces a Season Pass

Xbox 360 owners that are racing simulator fans have had nearly a year of hearing how great the PS3 exclusive Gran Turismo 5 is. The graphics are great, the depth is amazing, etc., etc. 360 owners have had to just grin and bear it. At least until now.

Next month sees the debut of Forza Motorsport 4 on the Xbox 360, and 360 owners that are fans of racing sims can hold their heads high. The game itself is shaping up to be slightly amazing, and earlier today developer Turn 10 Studios dropped a handful of announcement regarding the upcoming Forza 4.

The first is that Forza 4 will feature one of—if not the—most recognizable and famous racetracks in America, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. That will be included as part of the game, so all fans will get a chance to check it out. But more importantly, Turn 10 has announced several new add-ons, including the first DLC that will include American muscle cars, and a season pass that will allow you to buy all the add-ons for one fee.

The idea of a season pass—a onetime fee for all additional DLC–is becoming more and more common. EA is offering a season pass for all its sports titles, and Call of Duty’s Elite Premium service will include all the game add-ons as part of the price. Rockstar also created a similar pass for L.A. Noire, which offered all the add-ons at one discounted price.

The Forza 4 Season Pass will run you $29.99, and include six game add-ons as they are released. The cost marks a 30-percent discount versus buying them all separately. The first of these car packs will be released on day-one, and feature 10 American muscle cars:

o 1965 Pontiac GTO

o 1968 Pontiac Firebird

o 1970 Buick GSX

o 1970 Dodge Cornet Super Bee

o 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS

o 1969 Shelby GT500 428CJ

o 1971 Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi

o 1967 Dodge Cornet W023

o 1968 Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock

o 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt

The remaining car packs will be released between November through April. Although not included in the Season Pass, for people that can’t get enough cars, Forza 4 is also offering five cars that will be available on launch day as part of the Limited Collector’s Edition:

o 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe

o 2011 Koenigsegg Agera

o 1997 Lexus SC300

o 2011 RUF RGT-8

o 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport

Forza Motorsports 4 will be released on Xbox 360 on October 11

Luigi with the Poltergust 5000.

The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular consoles Nintendo has ever produced, with a wide variety of games to choose from and plenty of unique features. We’ve already gotten to play new entries across the Zelda, Super Mario, and Pokémon series on Nintendo Switch, but there are still plenty of great games on the way for the hybrid console. These include exclusive games developed internally by Nintendo, as well as third-party titles and ports of games that are also available on other platforms.

Here's our list of the best upcoming Nintendo Switch games for 2024 and beyond. Of course, some titles without release windows could skip the Switch entirely and wind up on Nintendo Switch 2 (or whatever it ends up being called) And if you're looking at future releases on multiple consoles, don't forget to check out what's upcoming on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC this year.

All upcoming PS5 games: 2024 and beyond
Shadow of erdtree

The PlayStation 5 has been out for some time now, and its reception has been mostly positive. It includes lots of quality-of-life improvements over its predecessor, the PlayStation 4, such as faster load times, a solid-state drive (SSD) instead of a regular hard disk drive (HDD), and an improved controller in the form of the new DualSense. However, a console is only as good as the games available on it, and thankfully, the PS5 has you covered on that front as well.

While the machine already has a worthy library of great PS5 games, there are even more to look forward to, with some releasing as soon as this month, while others are still years away. In the video game world, it's not uncommon to be aware of games that are still several years out from release. It's also normal for a new game to be revealed and launched within just a couple of months. In this comprehensive list, we'll go through the major PS5 releases scheduled for 2023 and speculate on future games.
