Many of the best monitors you can buy today are from Samsung. Many are pricey models like the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, one of the brand’s premiere ultrawide models. Luckily, when you can find Samsung monitor deals, the price differentials are typically quite steep. Just take this deal on a 27-inch Samsung ViewFinity S8 monitor as a prime example of this power. This deal takes just over half of the monitor’s price away instantly. Typically $450, the monitor is now just $220, a discount of $230. Just tap the button below to grab it, or keep reading for our take.

Why you should buy a Samsung ViewFinity S8

The Samsung ViewFinity S8 has a ton of specs and features that you’ll certainly enjoy for an absolutely incredible deal price. For starters, it’s a 4K monitor from a reliable brand, not some generic offering. It also has USB-C connectivity, which is super convenient for connecting to everything from your laptop to your phone in a way that HDMI is decisively not. If you do decide to plug your phone into it, you can also rotate it to give that great vertical view you’re used to on your phone. The ViewFinity S8 also has HDR10, a 60Hz refresh rate, an eye saver mode that reduces blue levels and a flicker-free screen, and eco-friendly power modes that reduce power output by up to 10% without significantly changing screen’s look and picture quality.

At this discounted price, this becomes a great monitor for someone looking to upgrade to 4K but has a fixed budget. If you’re running a work from home laptop setup, you’ll almost certainly appreciate the ability to throw images up on the big screen, even if you aren’t able to get the full 4K experience.

Samsung’s 27-inch ViewFinity S8 is down to $220 right now, a savings of $230 off of its usual $450 price point. To get it, all you need to do is tap the button below. If this isn’t the monitor for you, check out these other monitor deals for a wider selection.

Google’s next Googlebook could make your Android tablets feel outdated
Googlebooks are moving beyond traditional laptops, and the next one might look more like a tablet.
Computer, Electronics, Laptop

Googlebooks have only been around for a little over a month, but Google is already looking beyond traditional laptops. The company has confirmed that detachable Googlebooks are on the way, meaning we could soon see devices that work as both a tablet and a laptop without carrying two separate gadgets.

The announcement came during the Android Dev Summit 2026, where Google outlined its plans to expand the Googlebook lineup beyond the clamshell and convertible designs currently available. While the company hasn't revealed an official launch date or shown any hardware, an earlier leak suggests Lenovo could be the first manufacturer to bring one to market.

Meta is already working on its second-gen humanoid robot, but don’t expect it to land in homes anytime soon
Meta wants a robot to do your chores, but it still has to learn how to climb stairs
Fourier’s GR-3 humanoid robot, which the company unveiled in August 2025.

Meta appears to be getting serious about bringing artificial intelligence out of the screen and into the physical world. The company has built a humanoid robot prototype with Chinese robotics firm Fourier, and it is already developing a second-generation version. However, before anyone starts imagining a robot folding laundry or handling household chores, there is a fairly important caveat: this is still research and development, with no launch date in sight.

According to The Information, which cited people familiar with the project, Meta and Fourier built the prototype, internally called Max, in around three months. The roughly 48kg robot is part of Meta's broader ambition to develop humanoids that could eventually carry out everyday tasks in people's homes.
