Oregon Scientific ATC-1000 Sports Focused

Consumer electronics maker Oregon Scientific today launched what they think will be a hot item under Christmas tress this holiday season. The ATC-1000 action camera, priced at $119.99, is targetedthe extreme sport scene.   The ATC-1000 is a hands-free action camera which is shock and splash resistant. It can strap to a helmet, handle bar, arm or legand features three video recording resolutions at 15fps: 640 x 480, 320 x 240 and 160 x 120. It comes with standard memory of 32MB which can be expanded with a SD card, operates on 4 AAA batteriesand can connect with a TV cable or PC for viewing and editing of video and pictures.   "All of us at Oregon Scientific are excited about the ATC-1000" said EVP Bill Uzell. "Notonly does this helmet-cam record the latest trick, but it offers instant gratification by plugging the camera directly into a TV for instant replays. Plus, it’s the only product on the market that’sexpandable, and at this price point, it just can’t be beat."
