Verbatim Corporation yesterday announced the availability of new 4GB and 8GB external USB hard drives. The new Store ‘n’ Go USB HD Drives are priced at $129 and $199 respectively.
The Store ‘n’ Go USB HD Drives, Verbatim said, make use of an attached USB 2.0 cable to act as an external hard drive for PCs and Macs. Features of this product line include measurements of 2.75†x 2.125†x 0.5â€, a pre-loaded utility that allows users to download applications for running directly from the drive, a polymer enclosure to provide shock resistance, a blue light in the center of the drive which lights up when in use and a stylish design.
“Whether it’s for business, education or entertainment, people want to have their content and data with them without carrying their computer everywhere they go,” said Ron Hanafin, Verbatim Product Marketing Manager, in a statement. “Our new Store ‘n’ Go HD Drives are a convenient solution for creating this portable working environment, where people can have access to applications and information with ease and style.”
