What’s happened? Tech accessory manufacturer dbrand has launched a new color for its line of device skins, mimicking Apple’s eyecatching Cosmic Orange finish on the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.

dbrand claims it has Cosmic Orange skins for over 100 devices, including smartphones, laptops, tablets and games consoles.
Supported devices include the Google Pixel 10 Pro, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X and iPhone Air.
The brand’s tongue in cheek messaging says “When Tim Cook hand-picked the new Cosmic Orange colorway, he had no idea we’d be ripping it off for a color matched skin. To be fair, we didn’t think it’d be popular enough to warrant a ripoff.”

Why should I care? Cosmic Orange is a head-turning color, which is generating buzz from those who love – and hate – it. If you find yourself in the love camp, you can now prove your infatuation of the shade by coating your tech devices in the luminous hue.
