Rob Zombie and Walking Dead co-creator Tony Moore team up for Assassin’s Creed short

The San Diego Comic-Con panel for Assassin’s Creed: Unity on July 25 will debut an animated short from musician/filmmaker Rob Zombie and The Walking Dead (the comic) co-creator Tony Moore, inspired by the game. The session will primarily focus on Unity‘s protagonist Arno Dorian, so it’s a fair guess that the short will as well.

Zombie, the former frontman of heavy metal band White Zombie, has split his creative energies over the last decade between his solo music career and directing horror films such as House of 1000 Corpses and the rebooted Halloween. He has previously dabbled in the world of video games, as the composer of the scores for Twisted Metal III and Gran Turismo 2. Moore is best known as an artist for co-creating The Walking Dead with writer Robert Kirkman and providing art for the first six issues. Zombie and Moore previously collaborated when Moore illustrated a cover for Zombie’s Spookshow International comic compilation series in 2003.

In addition to the animated short, the July 25 panel will feature a demo of Unity and a Q&A with the developers, in which they’ll details about Arno, the game, and new announcements for the franchise.

The NMCS Texture Pack doesn't bring every aspect of the world up to a modern standard, but what it does upgrade is incredibly impressive. This mod completely retextures roads, environments, plants, vehicles, buildings, and more. What it won't change is how the sky, water, clothing, NPCs, weapons, and a handful of other things appear. It also does not work with any DLC. Still, the majority of things you will be seeing get a great visual buff here to help breathe new life into the wasteland.
